- In this video I explain how easy it is to create/install your own custom headlights to your KIA Optima K5 2011-21. This modification is very easy and simple. I show you how to install some RGB Bluetooth led hexagon lights into the headlights by opening them up. This could be done to pretty much any Vehicle for example: KIA K5 Optima Stinger Forte GT Hyundai Genesis coupe or g70. This installation of Custom Headlight is very easy. My Widebody Kia Optima K5 ( DARK RISE ), is becoming the best K5. Heavily boosted KIA. Soon to have new KIA Stinger?

This is my modified Best KIA Optima 2015 ( K5 ) fully built with a widebody
kit as well as full bolt-ons with turbo. Also have a custom exhaust. with a custom tuned backfire / burble pop bang tune. Soon to be the fastest KIA K5. Also includes Aodhan rims.

Hey I wouldn’t recommend putting the headlight assembly directly on the oven metal, it can really damage the housing from it melting. When I did mine I just put a piece of wood for it to rest on. Just thought I’d mention in case anyone decides to do this

Hello! And good question! To say the truth Im not sure if its possible as the wire harness could have a different plug setup:/
Is this street legal?
It is not legal to make any after market modifications to your lights but if you aren’t driving around with crazy light color or blue or red Id say just stick with white and you wouldnt have much of a problem. Ive been driving with mine on with only using white all the time and never had an issue. And to prevent any problems I just turn them off when I see any law.
I couldn't tell , but are you running the eyelids over your headlights ? I have a 2016 and hate how it has that top gap showing the top of the headlight. If you are or have in the past what do you recommend? Tinting , Paint or ordering some of the vinyl stickers offered on ebay ?? Thanks
Nothing is done to the headlights other then what is shown in my latest video👍🏼 but id recommend wrapping it yourself with Black vinyl.

The headlights are not affected. You are only adding rgb lights. As long as you dont cut any wires in the process you should be fine👍

You can create them by just purchasing the rgb lights and installing them yourself or finding a company that would like to install them on your vehicle.

This dude garret stays hating - always butthurt about something and never wants to help any members in the optima community with there headlight builds. He’s the almighty gatekeeper when it comes to anything lighting on our cars and gets bent out of shape when he sees others showing people how to build things themselves instead of the $2000+ he charges for headlight builds. He’s a salty boy that’s for sure 😂😂
