The tail lights do that because the seal between the lights housing and the body of the car wasn't good from the factory, and let's water get into the tail light. The water shorts out the bottom LEDs.
It can be prevented, but can't be fixed easily (easiest way is a new set). Love the hybrid tail lamps, your whole Optima is goals!

The new lights look fresh they have more details in but the original ones look more simple they bothe look fresh , I seen that big turbo too :) niceeeee

That is a led available for purchase from the website “engine glow”
Would you recommend putting LED wheel lights on a 2012 kia optima ex? I already got underglow on it. But I am thinking about putting led wheel lights on it soon!!

Yeah I would love to see that also I have had my stock 2015 SXL turbo up to 153 and I know it will go faster just don't know what the complete top speed is because once I got to 153 I didn't have no more room to keep stretching it out LOL

i have a q. i have the 2015 kia optima sx turbo. and my led tailights are burned out just like yours in the quarter panels. are you getting them replaced or do you think its not worth it? what do you suggest

I have multi colored oneuplighting, the lights are bright, good patterns, Bluetooth reciever sucks and app is kind of cheap.
