I can barely tell the difference between 144p and reality...without my glasses, at least

When I don't wear glasses, the pixels in real life look massive. Wonder what my bitrate is with my glasses on. 🤔

Tbf CRTs have insane response times and are very very smooth.

RUclips has also realized this and is now offering high bitrate 1080p for only a small charge of whatever RUclips premium costs.

This video taught me that youtube uses a different encoder for 8K video that my old 1080ti doesn't support. Which also sort of made your point in a different way! It maxed my CPU and was choppy at 8k, and buttery smooth at 4K or less.

Agree for the "I can't see the pixels", I sent back a 4k 32inches screen back to a 1440p 32 inches with higher framerate available because I couldn't see the difference. I'm 28 and I only have small eye correction.

8K per eye displays would probably be great for VR

RUclipss 1080p encoding is so bad that my twitch 1080p 60hz looks way betyer than any 1080p youtube video( i use x264 custom flags)

8K is only for bragging and for some Chad to try to impress a date, really just enjoy your game or the show that you're watching , and if you really want to see all of the imperfections on anybody face , get closer to your screen , a few moments of that you'll have had enough . good post Alex

All you had to say in the title is that phones can't actually record or take pictures in detail.
