I don't really think that is the issue with people who don't like an item... The problem is that they're gonna see it in their games everytime they end up with someone who has the arcana and there currently is no option in the game to turn off a cosmetic so that you don't see it on others.

Most heroes have a fighting pose actually. Not all of them are just not as noticeable. Very useful to know for heroes like Riki or BH.

Well i'm a bit dissapointed with this arcana...i mean last summer we payed 8 euros for a compendium (after million of copies sold, valve gaved us a milestone to decide what expensive arcana should make for us to buy) and now they released a 28 euros arcana (not 26 like the rest of them cuz valve.) and give the owner 2 or 3 special effects wich you will get it from this event for a limited time (cuz valve again) and the owners whom unlock their arcanas will sell them for hundred dollars on market (wich valve will get 25% of that price) or even make good trades with items worth the payment of an usual employ...this is another proof that volvo is a money-making machine...i don't want to bitch around but this bothers me so bad :( thus in my oppinion the blades look a bit unpolished... the particle effects makes the illusion of "looking good"...there...i've said it.
Well you don't have to buy the arcana, its totaly up to you, and ofcourse valve is a money-making company, how else do you expect them to continue expending dota and other games. Besides that Dota is also free to play, so there is absolutly no reason to hate on them. Just be happy with what you got, and if you think its a bad idea to buy the PA arcana, dont buy it :)

The point of the arcanas is to remake its astetic completly, and actualy making use of one of her arms that is always hanging.

We used to have doubts on PA Arcana because we wanted Invoker Arcana. Great Job on interrelating the PA Arcana with Oracle's debut. Maybe that's the reason why they made Oracle first before AU and Zet because of careful planning for that Arcana.
If there was AU or Zet, they might tell what these characters could give PA these swords.
Oracle came in before pit and warden and others because it was made to alaredy fit the dota2 play style, like earth spirit. Both of those were 1st released when dota2 was alredy running, not out of beta. But pretty much out. So its one of the newer heroes that was thoguh to alredy enter the fray without any tweaking

TB's wasn't a change into dual wielding. He was already dual wielding from the start. So really the only one that changes into dual wielding is LC's

This is by far the best Arcana till now!!!!... the animations, particle effects, etc... everything is awesome!!!!... I didn't noticed that when she throws a dagger drops the weapon and then catch it before it lands

I love a lot of it, but it's so busy, too many particles, and I feel like I'm the only one saying it! all the features are nice, love the TRON-esque look to it, but she just looks like a flaming blue/black blob, even at higher resolutions!

For me, the arms look extremly long and creepy, and the animations are bad. I mean, it should be obvious that the PA arcana isnt as good as the SF arcana, because her spells are just very minimalistic.

I'd say this is one of the better arcana items in the game ATM. I didn't really understand the whole tombstone thingie though. I know valve wanted to introduce cosmetic yet mechanically different things before into the game, like the techies sign thingie, but isn't it a little over-the-top? Are we going to get a mess of particle effect emitting fps dropping blades on the map? I suppose there isn't much need to complain, i personally very rarely see anyone with an arcana, infact i think i've come across only 2 in my about 1000 matches. Well as long as it isn't pay to win i suppose there isn't anything wrong about it.

This arcana is just fantastic. Amazing job.
The only issue really is the voice. They raised the pitch.
The modulator voice effect is awesome (wobbly effect), but raising the pitch on her voice was a mistake.

There are actually some minor lorebreaks around this set, that this item is manifested by the Oracle according to the comic, but it actually has a custom story behind it in its description. Also Mortred probably shouldn't have spared Oracle or reasoned with it, since she gets assassinations that cannot be questioned. But maybe it's just me who imagined her as a no talk, no nonsense type who just does the deed and gets out.
Though breaking the lore shouldn't surprise me after TF2. That's just the Valve way. :)
I don't think it breaks the lore. First the smith crafts this sword. (I think his name was Craler). He was greedy and killed his past self to get a duplicate but the cut ended up reflected on his present body. Oracle then obtains the blades which he passes to PA to help her with her assassinations.
Oracle used their ult, then she had to listen to it for at least 9 seconds, in that time they convinced pa to not murder them, ez, if they needed extra time disarm pa.
Valve's half arsed excuse to break lore in TF2 is to make the items halloween restricted. As if they're costumes.

The blink animation is kinda weird, since it shows your cast and arrival location. I remember in dota 1 when PA was hard to see and focus. Since he is Phantom assassin, blury, so it must stay, not with foot track like terrorblade, come on .. My humble opinion

I respect the work and hours for creating this, but $35 a pop is a lot for one set, it's too much imo. I would buy if it were divided by 3, and I think most of the Dota Community agree.

i'd say shrink the blades. and replace that glowing shit with shadowy effect SF style.
She's not supposed to, assassin is someone that kills certain people for work, they don't have to hide and be stealthy, most of the times assassinations are made with explosives coz of the 100% chance of killing someone, you can use the weapon you prefer to kill someone, might it be a little tiny dagger that can't even cut someone's skin (the 1 you think is the better) or a sword that makes it so you can kill your enemy in combat.
That's what assassination means

I personally really like this Arcana. She is Phantom Assassin, and this Arcana really shows her as a phantom.
This....may get my money. I was saving my purchase for a possible Oracle arcana (Valve seems to release arcanas of new heros), but this....this is really fucking awesome. And yes I am hyped for Oracle, have been even before Techies were announced. I don't give two shits about ABYSSAL UNDERLORD quite frankly. Would rather see Winter Wyvern come out before that
It's funny how people complain about EVERY SINGLE ARCANA when they are first released, yeah, last time when I checked, bunch of douche were complaining about terrorblade being "not special" enough, "legion commander's arcana is much better", well, in the end, people still buy it? And now a new arcana, a new argument/complaint
It looks pretty okay, maybe some dont agree, but it does look nice. Invoker arcana would of been better, but this is nice too.
I personally really like this arcana, but if you don't, blame the community. Seriously, who thought it was a good idea for PA to get an arcana? So many options. Morphling, io, enigma, magnus, or even venomancer. Not to mention people picked faceless for the rework. Viper, slardar, and zeus? Anyways good arcana.

The problem for me is not that much this event or the set, the problem is the contract shit that has an actual effect on the game. This is an absolute nono for me as it alters the game.
Also the ingame ads for Oracle are a no-go in my opinion.

A lot of people complaining about the PA Arcana, wishing it was the invoker Arcana. However, there will be future Arcana's to come, we may get that down the road. If not.. i will also be upset, 'cause that would be bad ass to see, even though I don't play that hero.
They really should remove that stupid helm of hers. That thing just looks dumb and i really don't see a fast, agile assassin wearing a stupid clunky warhelm. Just makes no sense. Templar assassin for example got it right!
Effects are nice and looks good but one complaint - She doesnt feel assassin anymore but more like a warrior. And she sounds like she is cyborg. Two blades doesnt fit for her style. My opinion and Im sure you have your own.
I dont have a problem with sets i dont like, cus i dont have to use them. But when u can have a team of pure particle effects its gonna look pretty silly.just coloured swooshes all over the screen when u group up. and I dont think swooshy particle effects constitutes a cool set but thats just me, i think perhaps if they made them a bit more subtle it would look better. I am all for new sets but not this one lol i like her without it better (except where it works like leshrac etc)

Gleaming Seal is already tanked in price. I hope once this releases it goes even lower! I would rather have the scythe than all of this. The blink animation is pretty cool though.
I dont like this at all... She looks more like Terrorblade then like Mortred... Blink and dagger animations are awesome, but the body does not look like its hers... It looks epic don't get me wrong, but this look simple does not suite this hero... In my opinion
well this is the worst arcana so far..way too overloaded with Particels and tbh the Dual Wield animations are crappy as hell... and Dual Wield doesnt fit her at all in my opinion. still the Effects are amazing dont get me wrong but way too many at once.
The worst event i've ever seen. They don't response in support for 1 month, but add zombie skin for worst hero in game and force me to play with it in every game. Ty, Valve

Sadly the arcana is tied to weapon so you cannot use the scythe same time, the looks on coup proc is cool but the sound is annoying as hell; hence i will not buy it
