The Sopranos is the only show since Married with Children to openly cast fat actors to play fat characters that are made fun of on screen for being fat. The show did wonders for the employment of fat actors (even if the Sopranos mostly hired fat men, while MWC gave jobs to fat women).

It's kind of sad though, that the only jobs fat actors had back then (and probably still now) were just to act as punching bags. I can't see them having a very lucrative career after that, either. Hopefully MWC at least paid them well.

Was Furio honorable? That's a relative question...but compared to most of the characters on the show...he was fairly honorable in this instant. I'd say he was more intelligent and able to set his emotions aside than honorable.

Well bearing in mind loads of these jokes were made before Bobby's ascension. If he makes a big deal over it he's fucked. And look where biting his tongue got him - a promotion. Unfortunately, that promotion also got him killed.
In earlier seasons he was lucky they let him live, he has no friend in tony's circle and vito was not his friend, vito would take his territory if sal didnt rule in his favor. He had a family to feed, his only choice is to suck it up.

My favorite joke in this show was a subtle one.
Tony was discussing something with Uncle Junior in the doctor's office. While fidgeting with a mechanical scale throughout the scene, Tony decided to step on it.
The way Tony held his stomach in disbelief and the genuine confusion on his face when he saw the number on the scale was so damn funny.
Little moments like that really made this show feel so alive.
