Here's my REVIEW of these new UPGRADED Wheels and Tyres for WPL and MN Models trucks.
They have some great features, including:
- Super Soft Compound

I only opened them to change foams and now wierdly the tires got small plastic pieces inside that breaks the tire..

Really like the performance of these, but I think they look rubbish. I'm that superficial that I'll take a dip in outright performance for a cool looking wheel.

Great review, thanks! Question: the tires you labeled as „MN96“…where did you get those from? IMO there is only one type of tire for all MN90/96/99 models? They seem to be smaller? Somewhat around 65-70mm? Thanks!
Hi. Thanks! The MN96 (military version of the mn99) came with these slightly smaller tyres. You can't buy them separately as far as I am aware.

I was looking for a 70 to 76mm tire with a good grip for the WPL Jimny 1.55" wheel and it's a tire that almost meets the root conditions. Great information and thanks for the recommendations.

Hi. Yes. You may just need to widen the outer edge of the hole so the screw goes through. Depends on the size of the screw head whether it fits through without having to widen it.
Are they lightweight? I've been using weighted metal for rims on my c24 but the weight causes the axles to bind so I'm back with the stock plastic ones.
Yep. Light as the standard wpl wheels
I'll be grabbing a set of these for myself, they look to be pretty darned decent.

Nice wheels like em I run mn90 wheels n tyres with wpl wheel weights they don't fit without moding I glued them in works quite well and no foams as I like to get my c44 quite wet lol

Thanks Guy. I think they look good on everything so far, except perhaps for the Q60 because the style of the wheel rim is too modern. But then you could 3DP some retro wheels for the tyres.

Yeah. You just have to widen the hole for the screw holding the wheel on

@yeayea-tz2kq just the outer hole on the front of the wheel to allow the head of the screw to pass through

Sounds great! The 14 is my favourite of the C series. Go for the metal kit version if possible! And some decent shocks

I've just put these tyres on some metal 1.55 beadlock wheels. Much heavier, looks good and widens my MN with the required 12-5mm adaptors. I then used the plastic beadlocks for some WPL tyres!

If you're in the WPL UK group, I've just posted a couple of pics of them. Work well so far with heavier wheels!

Just by widening the hole for the screw

what the size of the screw that you used sir?
Hi. Same screw that comes with the axle, but I just widened the outer hole of the wheel so it fits threw.

Just got it weeks before, put it on my C44, soft but not thin like wpl soft tires, good for trailing. But for me the downside is plastic moulding kinda thin, so u dont wanna trail in hard area or it might be broken. IMHO
