What airfoil are you using?

Flies like what I would expect from a dlg costing $800. Great job.

Stupid questions maybe... I am trying to set up a 2-channel glider and would like to not use a heavy NiCad battery to power the receiver. You used a Lipo. How many cells and mAh? Since a Lipo has two wires (red and black), where do you connect it to the receiver? Each receiver port has three pins. Which pins do i use? I don't want to fry my receiver.

Just got back for the 3rd time into RC airplanes with a balsa build F5L, can't do F3K bad back. Thanks for the excellent explanation on thermal, the best one on RUclips.

I also did this kind of lamination. The pp film can be pre-painted in the desired color (for example black).

I am building a 1.2 m dlg 4 ch same design as yours du you recommend the airfoil ag11 or you recommend a different airfoil for better flight performance

Is this 0.41mm stainless spring steel steel wire for the torsion spring? Or is is carbon spring steel wire (aka music wire)?

Which dlg you prefer to have more fun with , higher launches , more easy to catch thermals 2ch or 4ch 1m dlg ?

Why did you step away from using the VCR tape?

If you put a lubricated screw into the nut, you don't have to be so careful with adding the silica/epoxy mix when glueing the nut.

Simple, strong, light. needs minimal tools. I believe that is what we call elegant! well done sir.

Hello (a) filos, I followed your lead and have set up my TLite with a Matek R24V. After an interesting ‘process’ , I now have both vario and altitude call outs - thank you for suggesting this Tx Rx combination. I do have a question - maybe you can help. How did you set up your momentary Launch sequence? Thanks and happy soaring. PK

Hi, everything worked fine so far with my set up your tutorial is great. I got the mix working for the brake/thermal mode. My only problem ist that I set the endpoints for my aileron, so their movement is limited. For my brake/thermal mode I want to exceed the endpoints so I have more flap movement. Do you just don’t set endpoints for your ailerons and manage that with exp rate? Or do you know how I can make that possible? Greetings!

Hi Antonis, great stuff, 1 question - Are you leaving the first bit of glass, the area that rolls onto the boom first, dry? I'm assuming it wets from the resin in the rest of the layup?

If you had a 3D printer, I would use it to make alignment jigs to make the holes in the boom. I don’t know how to send you pictures!
