I have a db15 as well and have upgraded a lot on it but even stock it was a great rifle. Only issue I had was with the charging handle but that’s an easy fix. Love it

Bought mine's 4 months ago 300 blk w/ b5 stock. Close to 1000 rds and it has ran flawlessly. Definitely will buy another and look forward to the pistol version

I have three Rossi R92's - I really like them. Mine are all blued in three different standard calibers and three barrel lengths. That set me back about $1800 total. They are 1892 clones. So, if you like that model, then that's what they are. Mine are all very reliable and accurate. These are great for plinking, hunting and defensive uses. I did replace my flip safeties with a button - the half cock is plenty good for me. Nothing against Henry, I just like the 1892 JMB design. The removable tube feed is handy but I just don't like it and seems out of place on a centerfire carbine. I guess I'm a bit of a frugal traditionalist. Thanks for the review!

The safety on the Rossi is there because of import laws. The half cock safety isn't considered adequate on imported guns according to Gun Control Act of 1968.

I have the CZ S2 and I never use the safety. I do carry it.

NO, I do NOT want a decocker. I carry all my CZs and CZ variants cocked and locked. Why would you prefer that long, heavy, 40 miles of rough road?

running a lower that takes ak mags like a psa ks47 might mitigate alot of mag issues

224 valkyrie, 6.5 grendel, 300 blackout, 350 legend and 458 socom all BCA have all ran flawlessly. 458 socom I grabbed lancer mags and tromix followers and will go as long as your shoulder can take it.

Did they ever fix the issues this gun was having?

Henry refuses to make one model without tube load feature. This is why I have never bought a Henry lever gun. I like a solid tubular magazine under the barrel. Don’t like that brass, bronze, or whatever metal it is as part of the magazine tube. Another reason I dislike tube loading is because I will never use it. Back when Marlin came out with the solis wood Marlin Dark Series and Henry came out with their Henry X. The Marlin Dark was just so much better. It had more heft which realized less recoil. The Henry X forearm stock being polymer rattled loose every four or five shots. I am not knocking Henry. They do make decent lever guns, I just will never buy one because they have a hang-up about producing a lever gun with side gate loading only. Do not understand their reasoning since many people feel the same.

So many people balk at manually decocking to half cock with the CZ..... but the truth is ANY gun is capable of being accidentally discharged, and the fact is most accidental discharges have nothing to do with attempting to decock a hammer. They are due to a loss of safety discipline, and/or situational awareness. Safely Decocking is a learned "technique" that then like any other firearm safety protocol, must be faithfully reproduced everytime you intend to do it. In fact i could argue that because you KNOW the gun could go bang if you slip, rush, do it wrong etc, it sets your brain up to focus and pay attention before you even begin. Contrast that with the AD's you may have witnessed or heard about and in my experience they usually are a complete H@LY SHIT moment that absolutely stuns the handler, as their brain tries to catch up to WTH just happened. Hopefully the damn gun is pointed somewhere safe, but stats show in many of these it is not. If im decocking, I'm DEFINITELY thinking about pointing down and away, and aware of my surroundings should i screw up, cause again i KNOW I'm doing something that "could" go bang. For these reasons i think the CZ carry issue is a little over blown. If you're not comfortable with how to do it right, then by all means shop for another gun. Just my 2 cents.

A cz p-01 makes the most sense. You can direct optic cut the slide and cajunize the gun and still be under the price of the shadow 2 compact or the Kimber KDS9C.

Those things are like the Tisas 1911 of ARs.

Great video guys. The only problem I have with Radical Firearms is that for some reason the barrels their rifles come with are made of 4140 steel rather than the 4150 steel that even most of the budget brands come with, and the use of 4140 rather than 4150 steel can shorten the lifespan of the RF barrels. Though I've had no issues with my RF-15 maybe that's one of the ways they cut the cost, but I'd like to see them offer the option of going with a 4150 barrel.

I bought a brand new Anderson AR-15 built by the gunsmith at a gun store. It kicks harder than my AK and is always the loudest gun at the range. I don't like it at all. I wonder if Anderson is just poorly made.

I have heard that the 28 round Duramags can fix the issues with the 7.62x39. I got a few but haven't tried it out yet.

When you serialize your trigger, but your trigger isn't great..

The malfunction topic shows you gentlemen need more training. This also goes for anyone in the comment section. Most malfunctions in modern firearms are induced by ammo and magazine deficiencies. What ammo are you using? What magazines are you using? How often are you cleaning your mags? Last and most important, how many of those malfunctions were fixed by a tap, rack, bang?

No question, the CZ S2C is the better weapon, for a better price. Install the extended safety (easy to do) and enjoy. Take the savings and buy ammo!

Buy both, then try to sell or trade both. The Kimber will be a huge disappointment as their resale value is terrible. The CZ is simply a better quality gun.

Does the Shadow 2 Compact lack a firing pin block like the full size Shadow? Without a decocker and a FPB, the S2 Compact makes no sense for carry or competition. If CZ were to add a decocker and a FPB, along with the optics-ready slide with updated serrations, the blacked-out rear sight and fiber optic front, and the improved trigger, the S2C could replace the P01, and it would be the perfect carry gun. I prefer LOK grips over the Al grips so it wouldn’t matter if they were the OG rubber or Al.

Thanks for the wide ranged review and feedback! I've used a couple of BCA and they go boom. Overall not a bad experience. Most of my issues were cosmetic. As some have mentioned, the finish seemed okay...It looked kind of like a toy. Not a fan of the handguards either. If I bought BCA, replaced it with a quality handguard, it'd be at or very close to the price of a PSA which I find are better overall quality compared to BCA.

Canik has done a great job with the Mc9L. There is only a 2.3 cm difference in length with the classic Mc9, but this difference disappears when a long magazine is attached to the classic Mc9, and in this case, the renewed Mc9L provides the user with a superior control. However, Canik should minimize the 2.3 cm difference between the lengths, and can achieve this with a 15-round magazine and achieve a very stylish look by designing it completely without a magwell. Canik should definitely make a 15-round magazine for the Mc9L

These are fantastic guns and the prices have come down and now Kimber has a lifetime warranty and made in USA - no brainer.

I think all manufacturers should use the hk style mag release. The mag release can't be activated in a holster accidentally.

The shadow 2 compact DOES have a half cocked position just like the CZ p-01. You just have to block the hammer with your finger when you pull the trigger, release the trigger, then remove your finger from blocking the hammer, then it'll fall into the half cocked position.

I looked at the canik mc9 before picking up three p365's because I'm lefty and wanted the ambi slide release but the back of the grip is too sharp on my palm
