    Good review gentlemen. Just got my hands on one. I like it all around more than my Staccatos. The first gun that has me considering putting down my G19 EDC. It reminds me of a Wilson Combat type of machinery.

    Great little pistol. I’ve had my compact a few months now and love it. Only thing I’ve changed is I robbed my extended left side safety from my full size Shadow 2 and put it on the compact. Definitely easier to engage/disengage and I use it as a thumb rest while shooting.

    Impact machine makes a red dot plate with a backup iron sight and sells a front sight that matches the rear sight. I bought this red dot plate and mounted a holosun 508t. The factory front sight doesn't work with this rear sight built in to the plate, it shots about 3 inches high at 25 yards with the factory front sight. I plan on buying the impact machine replacement front sight that cowitnesses with their rear sight plate.

    Great job fellas! New subscriber by the way. Got one of these headed my way…been wanting one for my channel since they came out. Looking forward to running it through a 1K round test, but will need more magazines of course.

    Hey guys, good review. If you could would you mind reviewing the Shadow 2 full size against the Shadow 2 Compact? I'm considering one or the other for IPSC and I know there are good reasons to go with the heavier pistol for competition, but I like the idea of using something a bit lighter, but not as light as my Glock. Would be great to get a comparison of the Shadows, with a tilt towards using in competition 😊

    What’s the difference between the dark blue and light blue grips?

      As of right now there is only one option for the shadow 2 compact. You can buy different colored grips from cz. But the shadow 2 compact comes with silver aluminum grips standard. In the cz shadow 2 full size, the blue is more of the starting point where the orange has a few upgrades.

    I totally agree about fiber optic sights, unfortunately there are still no tritium sights because the shadow series was intended exclusively for competitions. That's how I bought the LPA (SPL06CZ) L-luminova front and rear adjustable sights… not tritium, but they work…

    good afternoon, 3 months ago I bought my cz shadow 2 compact, I spent 50 bullets on it and I was impressed with the precision and how nice it is, I cleaned it and then a month later I go with my friends to the range because they wanted to try it, and after 15 bullets It stays in single action, it won't let me take it to double action or return the hammer, I realize that the trigger (trigger) has a screw that is touching so that the trigger cannot be activated, I call the ameria and they tell me They say that with a wrench I returned the screw and the problem was fixed, after 15 days I go again and on the second 15 hopper that I am shooting the same thing happens again. I didn't feel very comfortable because it is my life that is at stake, I wanted to ask you if this has happened to you or if I just have bad luck and what advice do you give me based on your experience, thank you. I appreciate your response.

      We haven’t had any issues with the one we got. But if it was me I’d send the gun back and have them take a look at it. Especially since it has happened a second time now. If you don’t mind keep us updated with how it goes. Thanks for watching!

    As a carry gun? No. I completely agree with Tim from Military Arms Channel about this pistol.

      @chevrofreak why not serious question brother I carry it I love it not to heavy and I can shoot a quarter at 10 yards I’m not concerned about the decocker lmk

    • @chevrofreak
      @chevrofreak 8 месяцев назад

      @@kashifjones6007 no firing pin safety, no decocker, safety can be applied while it is in double action mode. I would never carry something that could be in double action mode and have the safety turn on without me knowing. That's why I only carry guns that have no safety and are striker fired. If you pull the trigger, it's going to do what you expect, and I don't have to worry about decocking a loaded gun with no decocker or firing pin block.

    • @terrencejones397
      @terrencejones397 8 месяцев назад +1

      never had these issues the safety can not be applied in double action unless you cock the hammer back a little bit and it’s drop safe unless you change to an extended firing pin
