Love this song, the short to this video was recommended and I couldn’t just watch it without searching for the full vid. I'm a drum teacher and it is nice to hear someone playing this correctly. Hardly anyone seems to get that you play 8th notes on both the hi hat and the snare. Most people just put the snare on 2 & 4. Thank you for educating other drummers about this song.

Dude, I’m a guitar player that bought a drum set a few months ago thinking it would be easy. Obviously I was wrong. I sat down and after rearranging my set up was playing along with you for the beginning which is more than I’ve ever done before. Thanks for showing me how to do this.
