god i miss home. Very eye opening content for someone like me going to uni here in Canada and loving life but eventually I'll be settling down back home in Thailand. My plan is to find work here and work for at least a couple years then further down the line building my own business or working remotely back home in Thailand. But really, I don't know what I truly enjoy doing just yet. What advice would you give to someone like me? I really do feel like I am on the right path but I just hate uni work so so much and want to start doing real work. I did an internship last summer doing a job I hated but I still enjoyed the work-life balance a lot more than the education system where there's mundane assignments and pointless exams that you have to pay money to do. But even with all that, I don't spend a single second regretting going to uni. I've learned so many life skills and met friends that I'll call family for the rest of my life.

For all these 3 points there is just one tiny ingridient missing -> Money. I am sure we all would be happy to buy things which sets us free and travel but you still need to make money to care for your family and kids. Those with no children and you are just responsible for yourself - sure. When I was young, I did all those things but then you could say children/family make you go in that hamsterwheel. Nice talk on the beach but nothing practical.

We have to face the reality. Europe is direct in front for an upcoming (Civil) w*r. The society can not hold. (Mass) Migration destroyed everything, and now Europe has to pay... And in Thailand or the Philippines or or or, it's not like that... Maybe one day too? But when in 100+ years, not now... This is the reason you have freedom there... But shure and/or writen in stone is here also nothing...

Okay I'm not getting any clear answers. I was told by someone that works in tourism in Laos that there's no monetary requirement to show the government in the bank there like Thailand to stay for 6 months or a year I've heard about the digital nomad Visa it's $700 do you have to have a job for that? I need a multiple entry Visa being a friend of mine lives in Thailand 3 hours from Laos. If there's no monetary requirement I just want to be able to stay up to a year on a multiple entry visa and just pay for the Visa is that all I have to do?

Like the old saying goes " if it was that easy we would all be doing it". They are and I think it is saturated in Thailand. You may be better off repositioning yourself like Brett Dev using your digital nomad knowledge as not everybody can offer that. I think it was referred to as selling the shovel in the Gold rush days. Great video. A lot of knowledge. Thank you. You're one of the better ones here on YT. One thing no one cares about is OTHER thailand expats telling us what is what...You do it different in some way. I like that. You're not lecturing and hyping. Then the other thing...making money in Thailand. Yes you are right..there are plenty of ways to make money in Thailand, better than this. I like to help the locals get ahead while i get ahead too. Do you know how many unbanked there are in Thailand ? How many without a valid credit score ? How many jobs in the unofficial economy ? They too need bridge loans and start up loans etc. And even more so they need valid business plans that actually work. I like creating jobs and opportunities for the locals and take interest on those loans or equity in their biz if they can't afford the interest. Various set ups are possible in this to please all parties in a fair way. Example. I lend money to a local man who needed to buy 4 trucks to start up his own postal delivery service. He had the connections for supply, collateral for the loan but no credit. He paid me back in full and has 10 trucks running now... I love it. This is by far the best and safest way to earn without working really, that i have found and you help many who have no acces other wise....there is your escape. Most money by far in Thailand is made in the real world. Not online. Expats can invest their money and knowledge in so many ways here. There is no need to think you can not 'work' in Thailand. You work your assets and skills. I tell this not to share yet as another expat who knows better and has an easy life. Far from it. It's not easy money at all in the end..No easy money exists. I share because the more foreign money is invested in the unbanked. The more you REALLY help the poor and better the future of Thailand. That is my main goal. Create a wealthy middleclass in the future . Be s mall part of that. They can hold the taxburden and create a better life for all...Dreams 5555

Seems like your video is geared towards RUclipsrs...like 50 people max. I actually enjoy daily vlog videos about people just living a normal life in Thailand. Get breakfast, go to the gym, meet a friend, do some work, get some dinner and go to sleep. Daily Vlog in Thailand. I hate Travel RUclipsrs like Paddy Doyle because he won't just stay in Thailand. Basically RUclipsrs who are consistent with their uploads get my excitement. Just make videos about your life - easy peasy. You are doing the exact same as every other south east asia youtuber, regurgitating the same tired topics of love life, night life, why I left the west, etc. etc. utter bollocks - nothing original. And of course, a "digital nomad" consultant, at this point there are more consultants than actual nomads.

The whole section about barrier to entry was really well articulated, some quality advice in this vid, good job mate.

Point 4: If I was to make a few videos now, it would probably be about Thai women, but about their view of Western men, which quite frankly, isn't that great (Talking Thai helps to get to know their perspective).

I did one video because my Thai GF wanted to be famous. To be honest I found it annoying having to stop and film myself, worry about the camera falling in the waterfall etc etc then have to edit it all. Would rather have fun and enjoy the moment
