Bring a wife/girlfriend - they love exspensive drinks . Guaranteed to get your moneys worth , if a your with a women . Bloody Mary's for breakfast , lunchtime cocktails , dinner = wine ,cocktails . Then club/casino boshing away on the cocktails again ... At about 10 pound a pop.- the wives will take P&O to the cleaners on your behalf . While the man drinks a few fiver beers and maybe a single malt . Joking aside : Very good video - perfectly explained . P&O have definitely tried to close the loop holes. From.what I have seen : for a cruise line and having a captive audience, they are extremely well and fairly priced . ( 7 pound ish - cocktails vs 5 pound beers = better than alot of pubs ) . I think for some people it's the hassle of paying - but one "duberry " i didn't think of is shore days. I doubt you could drink 50 "Spondooleys" on some shore days , after a little sleep vs what the package allows you to have

Hello my client s will be in Flam on June 24. 2025. Their cruise ship will arrive at 0700 am and depart by 1530. Is it possible to take the Falm Rail way early in the morning 0800 and be back by 1400 the same day? I hope to hear from you! Thank you. Maud

Wow! Thank goodness I watched this! Having just booked a Suite which advertises Balcony etc and the confirmation showed room 8110 imagine my shock to see we won’t be getting what’s adverised such as Balcony, Butler Service or even a Bath! Awful! On to p&o already and it’s only been a few hours. So disappointed thank goodness it wasn’t on the day! Can’t see ANYTHING anywhere showing anything different.

I am sailing for the second time out of Southampton this coming October. Does anyone know if it is ok to drop our luggage off before we check in? We are taking a train from London that morning, and wanted to do a bit of walking around before boarding without having to drag along our things.

thanks for sharing! we went to the Flam last month through a cruise ship but we did not get a chance to ride a train due to fully booked.

I used Penguin parking (Cunard, July 2024) and recommend it. Satnav found it easily, immediately after IKEA is a set of lights, turn right and the entrance is in front of you (the satnav said do a U-turn at the lights, but it’s a right turn). The site is shared with BSA-Regal, BSA-Regals signs are more noticeable than Penguins. So look for BSA-Regal, you can’t miss it. Staff were friendly and helpful and load your luggage into the minibus. Journey time to the ship is less than 5 minutes. From where you drop your car at their portacabin, cars are parked 10 to 50 yards away in the same compound. My car mileage was the same reading as when I dropped it off. You’re given an instruction card on what to do upon arrival or the evening before if you can get a signal at sea. I could, as we passed Dover in the English Channel. Text them your name, ship and disembarkation time, you even can do this when you wake up and the ship has docked at Southampton. Once you make it through arrivals, call them and the minibus arrives in a few minutes. I’ll use them again when I sail with Cunard in April 2025. They give you a discount voucher for repeat custom.

is it just weird that I’m just commenting on this video while being on Iona for the 2nd time!

Did you get to see Cabins 4102, they are Seaview Superior and located at the front of the ship, configured a little differently. Would you recommend that cabin?

I think the train takes about two hours round trip and just a 5-minute stop on a glacier seems very short to me.
