      From a Norwegian, the rail-rail-fast boat trip out of Sognefjorden and back to Bergen is spectacular even for us locals. Have a lovely time. PS - Pro-tip - check the hours. If it is getting past 20:00 on return to Bergen by boat this time of year, it could be valid to reverse the route as a lot of the train ride an hour from Bergen is inside tunnels - thus daylight is not that necessary.

    MY wife and I are traveling to Norway in 181 days and counting. I had an coach on my Soccer staff from Norway. He use to talk it all the Time, I after a while started checking into Norway and its beauty. Friends ask me "why Norway?" I tell them God found an open spot he forgot when creating our earth he noticed a void, He wanting it something special, He created Norway! We are so stoked, trying to learn some of the language. Its also our 50th wedding anniversary! See ya soon..

    Hello we will be in Noway soon and i have a question. When talking about what side to sit on the train for pictures and views you stated to sit on the right side; are you saying the right side when facing the head of the train or the back of the train? Thanks for all the great information!

    Hello greetings. Thank you for tge video. So nice. Can you give me some info. Please, ill be travelling to norway in a few months from now. When you say in the Train the best view to take pics and for the landscape its in our right hand side, but its when you enter in the train or when you are seated. That differs. And about the best time of the day to make que trip.?Thank you. Best regards❤

    • @CruiseWithAmber

      its the right hand side when facing the direction of travel. Time wise - early morning means you miss the crowds so if you can get on the first couple of trains then it might be quieter. Hope that helps. Have a great time in Flam and thanks for watching.

    How to book one way ticket from myrdal to flam and how to book ticket for cruiseflam oneway

    • @CruiseWithAmber
      @CruiseWithAmber  7 месяцев назад

      If you go to the Norways best website (link in the video and description above) you can book one way. Details of the future of the fjords ship are in this video:
      ruclips.net/video/wwCBJzvaYjA/видео.html - however you can’t join a cruise ship in Flam

    Hello my client s will be in Flam on June 24. 2025. Their cruise ship will arrive at 0700 am and depart by 1530. Is it possible to take the Falm Rail way early in the morning 0800 and be back by 1400 the same day? I hope to hear from you! Thank you. Maud

    • @CruiseWithAmber
      @CruiseWithAmber  3 месяца назад

      Hi Maud - yes this is possible as the round trip only takes two hours (if the do the direct journey and don’t get off at the top) - most cruise passengers do the direct return journey. To book, just use the website I’ve mentioned in the video, to book tickets about 6 months out to get the best pick of ticket times - one about 9:30 or 10:30 am should leave enough time to get off the ship and also get them back by or just before lunch time to explore the rest of beautiful Flam. You might want to show them this video of other things to do in Flam too ruclips.net/video/wwCBJzvaYjA/видео.htmlsi=wLyEV075XdpRccGo
