I'm gonna say it- Fate's story wasn't even that bad. Of course each of the paths was going to be short and simple- they had literally 3 campaigns to fit into the space of 1 game. FE: 3 houses did the exact same thing, yet it is never as heavily critiqued as Fates. The character's are a bit 1-dimensional... but there are literally over 71 useable characters in the game. Fates is clearly the FE game whose focus is less on the story/characters but more so on the gameplay and tactical challenge. The difficulty, design, ambience, music, player-freedom was all flawless. I have never played a FE game in the franchise that has been as fun and entertaining as Fates.

Did anybody else get Skillet vibes when they heard the beginning of this?

I can't help but feel that Laslow, Selena, and Odin should have been playable in Birthright, too. To my knowledge, they were sent to Nohr in the first place to help Corrin, correct? Also, I also associate this with non-recruited Black Eagles in Three Houses.

Here's a bit of a fun fact for you all. Elise is the only Royal who isn't a boss twice, you fight her only once in Ch 6 of Brithright while Xander, Leo, and Camilla are all fought at least twice or more.
