One of the best tips I would say is to "shifty" your board the opposite direction before rotation. It makes the rotation so much easier even if you don't have line tension you can create the rotation by movement of your legs and force the rotation.

Always love these learing journey videos, thanks! A good tip I have found to do late backrolls on jumps without loop is raising the legs and sort of letting yourself fall into the rotation. That makes it much easier to get the momentum to do the rotation even without the pull from the kite in a loop. Cheers 🤙

Hi, great video thanks. Not sure if you will have a point of view on 12m sizes but I am thinking of getting the Lift Team in 10 and 8 so what to put with it for lighter air? In a 12m would you go Lithium v14, Lift v3 or Lift Team? Have you tried any? I am 73kg, looping OK but probably not looking to loop the 12 (unless it is really fast). I kind of think a Lithium v14 team edition will be amazing but when will it come??? Thanks v much and keep up the great work.

The hardest part of taking off before the kite hits 12 (for me) is retraining my brain and body to feel for different amounts of line tension as the kite climbs, and also using that as the trigger for initiating the carve and pop. Being self-taught has created some bad habits!
