Thrilling Kiteboarding at Iverson - How My Buddy Almost Killed Me

Join us on an unforgettable kiteboarding journey to Iverson, 150km south of our home in Canada. After weeks of anticipation, a promising forecast finally appeared, and despite heavy rain in the north, we were determined to chase the wind. Guided by expert kiters from Seattle, Claudiu and Phillip, we ventured into the stunning landscapes of swamps, fields, and vast horizons. The rain ceased, and the wind gradually built up, setting the stage for a thrilling session.
As we pumped our kites, Claudiu playfully taunted, challenging me to bring my Canadian A-game. The conditions started light but soon intensified, revealing a mesmerizing flat water channel perfect for advanced maneuvers. The excitement escalated as Parker, a pro rider from Reedin, showcased his skills before heading to Spain, performing breathtaking boardoff contra loop rotations on borrowed Airush gear.
The session reached a heart-stopping climax when Claudiu, in a bold move, nearly collided with me while I was filming, showcasing his precision at the last second. Despite the cold, which required a thick jacket, the joy of reconnecting with friends and witnessing incredible tricks made every moment worthwhile.

Haha - yeah its not that its dirty - its just very muddy haha especially on low tide.
The water was brown - which was such a contrast after carribean blue :D
