????? How do you insure your equipment when it is rented out????
I’ve got a sonic, where did you get that workshop manual?
For the future, you'll want to put those rubber caps on the end of the hydraulic fittings when they are disconnected to keep them clean. I don't know if you did yet, but get some rim guard in the rear tires for ballast. I have this done to my New Holland WorkMaster 25S, and it's a must.
Yanmar has some good stuff, too. I may buy a Yanmar VI017 Excavator next.
Nice video man, thanks. Keep it up 💪
I’m short but feel hunched over on the sticks. I don’t think the seat lowers. Will see
Need to torque and torque in a sequence that’s why they leak
Can you tell me the sequence because I need to replace mine soon
Never mind the book shows
Keep up the hardwork man. I just recently found you but ive been watching your vids and seen how you've grown.
I bought an ox thumb same price as you paid for that one. Hoses, couplers , everything included, it hooks to the bucket pivot as you wanted. 3/4" side plates. Real nice piece. I need to replace some bushings before i can install it. Only want to do it once. It has two ears to weld on for the top cylinder mount. I also have a couple buckets coming from rhinox buckets. A 9" toothed bucket and a 36" smooth ditch bucket. I may make a 5' smoothing beam also. Its a u17 machine. 1500 hrs .
@@firstname6208 nice those ox thumbs look like a pretty good setup I may have to buy one and switch over to it.
You’re going to be a very successful man one day. Keep it up, I retired at 55.👍
What insurance company did you go with?
Brandon, I would love to get your contact info to pick your brain about the equipment rental business I want to start! Love you, channel!
Waste of time.
Who are you getting insurance thru? I've been calling around and no one offers policies for rental equipment? Do you have an annual policy for all your equipment, or per rental insurance rider?
Looks like a regular scrape yard.
IH Schlezinger. They are actually a bigger yard. I prefer going to that one for steel at least vs. the one right next door. Sometimes I'll go to the one down the road on 5th ave if I'm running late. all three of them places are super busy usually. it's pretty wild.
@@scrapmanindustries yes I was just hauling some scrap there for my company I work for. Where I’m from the scrap yards do have near this much junk piled up in them!
Hellium? 🤣
hey man, hows the business going? Im looking at buying an equipment rental business currently. How it going for you?
Get some concrete track dumpsters they rent like crazy where Iam at
I’m in a similar setup as you and growing quick. I have both a Bobcat E20 and an E26. They both have their place but the E26 is about the perfect size for most customers. Just plan to get 12”, 24” digging buckets and a 36”ditch bucket.
Where did you advertise? Which had the best results?
It's a junkyard, is it not? What you expect to see in a junkyard?
A bunch of dodge pickup trucks!
@@brandonsdiyprojects Ohio makes it so hard to get rid of vehicles I've noticed most people would rather just let them rot in their backyard.
Scrap yard in Columbus currently on fire
@@johnvandemark7490 I seen that.
Hey Brandon do you have insurance to cover rentals on your equipment? Or are you just taking chances and filtering the projects/people you let rent it?
@@insanestang4life I have insurance. But I also try to watch who I rent to.
How do you ensure someone doesn’t steal equipment? Do you also take refundable deposits?
@@javed2547 get alot of information take alot pictures of vehicles, IDs and use trackers.
I don’t do deposits. Just get a card on file and take all payments upfront.
So a friend of mine started renting out his skid steer about 5 years ago. He now has at least a half a million dollars worth of equipment and is building a new shop on commercial property. Crazy how fast he grew. Glad to see your update.
@@ricepadi29 nice!
KKEEP IITT UPPP i want to do this soon
nice to see you growing
Hell yeah dude good to see and hear from you again . Thanks for the update. God bless and God speed.
I'm thinking about renting my dump trailer and equipment but I'm concerned about damage and theft
crazy year would be an under statement for sure
that's a nice weld brother, I'm sure you can make some cash welding up other peoples stuff in the area too.
With you working full time, when do you rent? on the weekends? You accept credit cards?
I rent on weekends and through the week! Just drop off/pick up in evenings. I do accept credit cards!
Hey Brandon ! glad your back with the videos. Send me you email or a contact. I started a rental buisness after watching your videos. hope to talk with you soon.
I'm in the process of starting the same business in similar settings. The closest town is 30 minutes and its 15,000 pop.
Just grind the truck frame crack down real good and weld it from both sides, then weld in a plate on top of that, then add your cross beams. Probably less work then trying to take apart the back end of a rusted truck
How’s the rental business going? Haven’t seen any updates in a while.
@@ricepadi29 I’ll be putting a video out sometime today. The title of the video is Hows the rental business going lol. But it’s been going pretty good. You’ll have to watch the video when it goes live!
If you only had a mini skid steer, what attachments would you want. If you were renting the gear out.
@@JohnCantey smooth/tooth bucket,forks,auger and a trencher for sure
@@brandonsdiyprojects I’m getting some feedback from my insurance company on using my van for commercial use part time. Either I’m covered under my business for business use or personal and personal. Looking for a company that will give me a rider policy or something. I need to be covered regardless if I am doing personal or business. Do you use a company that covers both? If so, who? Thanks
lol and i hope you don't hire yourself out for fuc sake
How's business doing Brandon? Haven't seen any vids coming out bud.
IT’s doing pretty good. Have just been to busy to post. I may get a video out soon
@brandonsdiyprojects nice.. can't wait to watch dude
What do you have on the sanding side so it doesn’t ruin carpet
I’m selling the equipment, but you give me a clue to rent it. Thank you.
You should be making a profit on repairs, maintenance, and fuel charges back to the customers.
Welds look good. You can make a lot of money welding on the side.
Can you share your rental agreement and liability release? Been looking for good versions I can use to try to rent my equipment in my area! Plz and thanks
Thanks for this video! What insurance company do you use? So far no one will cover me if im renting out the equipment to the public.
You can’t patch the sidewall safely, that tire is junk.
Tell people to turn their brake controller down when dump trailer is empty
What are you charging per day for the excavator plus delivery?

Good instructions! For myself i would not touch this RTV without gloves, i think it is not really healthy. I have to do this repair in the near future, because the car repair shop is to expensive for this. Greetings from Germany
You’re a good bro. Keep up the good work and keeping it honest and straightforward
