Hi folks this is just an update on where I’m at on the kubota swap! For those wondering. I will release a more detailed video of how I got to this point later. Thanks for watching!!
WOW! That really looks great! I have the same Kubota t1600, this engine is only rated at 8-10 hp. My bigger Kubota TG 1860 has a 3 cylinder 18 hp diesel.
Kubota T1600 Engine Engine Detail Kubota diesel 2-cylinder liquid-cooled Displacement 478 cc 29.2 ci Power 13.5 hp Source: Tractor data. Thought the spec you quoted seemed low...
I thought so lol. I still have a lot of work to do just figured I’d show what it’s looking like. Just haven’t had much time to work on it I’ve been busy!
You should take the temp sensor and gauge off the kubota Tractor and put it on the John Deere so you know your coolant temperature right now it’s going to overheat because you took the fan off of it. You really need to add an electric fan off of like a street bike or motorcycle
I have been working on swapping that same engine into my 318! So far I got it mounted, PTO figured out and am now working on wiring, cooling system ect. Even hooking up a 1-1/2 oil, temp and voltage gauges. Lol Question: got a link for the Amazon rad?

I have the temp gauge on it but I got some glue on it so it don’t work properly. I will be adding some fans later on.
