Really don't understand the thinking behind printing a regular ass mummy in front of a racing flag and calling it a deck. At least give me the mummy in a race car. It's still stupid, but it's something!

I've always been a big innistrad fan, unfortunatly they've never been able to build a comprehencive were wolf set. It's a big shame the the 3rd party in this story never gets any REAL attention, and the Werewolf cards they come out for them, are actually kinda just BAD. The Mechanic for these sets (innistrad) are shot, and only seem to get worse the more time goes on. Plenty of great vampires and other horrors come out of this set, it is unfortunate that we can't get the same out of wotc for Werewolves. I'm kinda glad there's a good cheance, we're never going back agin.

No one is skipping this set because they want to. They or just don't wanna pay the price or they are mad because they can't find any.

Like I said before, I do not condone violence and threats. However with that being said, the Rules Committee handled the bannings poorly and did not think it through as they should have. I am not a fan of a 4 tier Commander system. I am looking forward to the Final Fantasy set. My tow sons and I played a lot of the RPGs with Final Fantasy 9 being our favorite. There will not be a UB commander set. They literally just told us a few months ago that UB sets from now on will be standard-legal. They'll do some commander focused secret lairs and (maybe) an in-universe commander set.

Half the amount of new precons to start off.. atleast for in universe sets

I pré ordered the ETB for Prismatic for a very fair price from a local game shop. But I think that's the only product I'll buy for the set and just buy a few singles I like. I'm also looking forward to the Team Rocket set. That one I might try to master set depending on how good it is.

There is no comparison between surging and prismatic. The fact that there is no bb means etb is the next best option hence the price .

I have been very happy with the commander product over the past two years. WotC seems to finally be zeroing in on how to handle it. They can certainly work on releasing more "affordable" commander products, like a commander starter box, similar to Foundations.

Weird thing is i have all my playsets of promos in the same four binder! It was the first 4 pocket binder that hit the market back in the day

Sets becoming overpriced, MTG becoming unoriginal/unique in flavor/art and cards like it used to. So many reprints and cards that are same exact just different name. Becoming more and more common. Now we have UB. As someone who has played 15+ years, this shit sucks. MTG started getting shittier and shittier with moments of hope and UB has killed all remaining hope I've had for this game.

I have 10 slappers for each set. 5 booster boxes for each set. A full numbered collection for 1-4 and Ive been slowly acquiring enchanteds. I had 3 original base set booster boxes of pokemon when they came out. My dad specifically bought one for me to keep unopened and like a dummy, I opened the 2 and like 6 months later opened the 3rd. I wont be making that same mistake in my life twice. And if they dont appreciate, my friend group and myself still love the game. If nothing else it'll be a fun night to rip some old sets with them.

TPC staggering the release of this like CZ ( etb in feb, booster bundle in march) will extend the upward hype.

This "get rich quick" crowd is ruining the tcg space. We played pokemon for the game in 1999... our sets became valuable, because who knows why... this whole buy everything to sell for triple the price, removing the ability for anyone to build a deck is ruining pokemon TCG.

Skip, best thing to do. There's no point actually this kind of concern. The only fundament of this game is the TCG aspect. The collectibility has zero point, just a waist of money. I'll buy only the cards that runs meta on my decks.

I skip every set from Twilight Masquerade (just buying some singles, not much tho - I don't believe in SWSH and SV era will keep their value overtime, maybe some hits, nothing more, too much printed) just to not get scalpers their money. This craze needs to stop. And I know a bunch of people who does the same. Call our idiots if you want but if people don't stop fomo-ing, every sets' prices will go nuts.

This is just like Evolving Skies. You should do a comparison to that set as Prismatic Evolutions releases throughout the year. It should be available because it has a few releases throughout the year so I think they are trying to find a way that everyone gets a chance. This might be the biggest year ever for the Pokemon card game.

I was at my TCG store today and the local guy who is always there says this is the greatest moment in time for Pokemon. The ultimate perfect storm where everything will still go 500-1000X he said prepare for mind blown craziness.

I ll share a secret. The trick is to always look at the stuff that is not hot and in demand. Right now is a perfect time to pick up previous sets and sealed stuff and NOT the last 2 sets and the next 2 because too many inve$tbr0s and the idi0ts watching them on youtube tend to hoard as much stuff as they can hoping to retire with 20 lambos. This is not sustainable. Pokemon Pocket brought people back to cards but it can not go on and kids have not been able to buy packs at stores for almost 2 months. It has to end and crash like it always does when nobody can buy anything anymore.

People aren’t giving enough credit to the phone game for this organic bull run. It led me here and before that I’ve NEVER touch tcg, I’ve only played almost every console games 🤷‍♂️

Never buying this set at these inflated prices. It’s absolutely insane and the secondary market is being so greedy for this demand. Also seeing all the videos of people overbuying 10 copies of Blooming Waters in Canada is NUTS. I seriously won’t be a part of it… I’ll wait honestly and won’t give into this fomo of getting it day 1. Let these scalpers and people CHOKE on their credit card debt as they start reprinting this set into the ground again a few weeks later.

one does not simply skip prismatic evolutions forget your LCS, especially if they cancel orders and mark up prices, stick to big retail. If an LCS has never wronged you then keep supporting them if the prices are "normal".

What secondary market?? Pokémon and Mtg worked hard to make sure everyone only wants the NEWEST product. Meaning they're dismantling the "secondary" market.

It would be cheaper to buy the Karlov Manor singles than buy a box. Zendikar Rising has some good cards in this set and a Booster box for $84.99 is a good buy. War of the Spark clearly does not have much value as a set. It is not undervalued. Thunder Junction is a better set than March of the Machines. The Collector boxes are fairly cheap and there is a lot of them out there. With that being said, most of the time you do not get much value out of a Collectors box. Considering you only get 12 packs, you end up getting a lot of duplicate cards and pack print runs. To each their own. Thank you for the video.

I like playing magic the gathering but getting into its lore and caring about the characters was never easy. UB allows me to connect to the cards more. There are good UB like lotr, 40k, fallout. (I like the concept of assassin creed just wish it had precon) There are bad UB like marvel, my little pony, sponge bob or steet fighter. Though most of the bad ones are SL

I get it, bro. As a father, I've been playing MTG and Lorcana with my daughter (which is what she wanted to learn to play). The value you're talking about is sentimental memories. Can't put a price tag on that. But if our cards could have any money value, I'm okay with it too.
