@@Bobcatlazerwitch The amount of products that comes out now is crazy. It is hard to keep up. Players hardly have enough time to enjoy the current set because a few weeks later a new one comes out.
The idea of Innistrad Remastered sounds great (my favorite plane), but it is all about the execution. They did a decent job with Dominaria Remastered and Ravnica Remastered (but neither were home runs).
Agreed. The poster serialized cards are a super fun chase, and they have them for some really nice and already expensive cards before the reprint. Even if they drop in price at one point just like the Ravnica Remastered, I think they're going to skyrocket back up, especially as the product runs dry and you can't get them at your LGS anymore.
@@markusbetts I don't believe it's confirmed that Edgar will be the only serialized card, nor Emrakul not being serialized. They have only confirmed that Edgar will be one of the serialized cards.
Yes, my sons and I love opening packs and having Drafts but it all depends on the price point. Wizards decreases the odds of getting good Mythics and Rares so the EV continues to go down while paying a higher price for a box. It looks like we will have a Remastered set of reprints every January. When Dominaria Remastered came out, I waited 6 months and I was able to buy Drafts boxes for $89.99 on Amazon. With so many reprints the past two years, the prices of certain cards have tanked on the secondary market. Wizards wants it both ways by charging more and getting less value. There are too many products which will cause wallet fatigue. This year I skipped Ravnica Remastered, Karlov Manor, Assassin's Creed, and Fallout. I waited and bought some singles, however, I did preorder the precons from my LGS and bought some prerelease its for drafting. You have a nice collection of sealed boxes. Thank you for the video.
@@PatrickGotHands I knew nothing about Fallout. I then watched the Fallout show on Amazon Prime and liked it. You are right, I missed out. I will buy a few singles now.
It feels like remastered set has kind of hit a point of diminishing returns. TSR and DMR were fresh and RVR at least had shocklands to buffer some value, and CB for ravnica had a ton of serialized pin up the value. I just don't see as much to get hype about for innistrad remastered
I am the biggest innistrad fan I know, specifically for werewolves. I am thrilled for this with the hope of receiving foil borderless werewolves, for about 2 bucks each because that's all their value is 😭😫 . Buying singles lmao
The answer is an obvious yes assuming the print quality is on par with rav remastered.....those cards have some of the best matte foil finishing in modern magic. The question i'm asking is "what's the right entry price on this product?" I've got my eye on retro foil edgar markov and lily but i'm waiting for a cycle low months after release to pick those up.
This was Wizard's chance to fix the old and new werewolves to be on the same page. They did not capitalize on this event. Werewolves could have been one sided like Werewolf packleader or have a split one-sided card you can rotate. Werewolves as a tribe have gotten shafted compared to other tribes.
I wish they would stick to slopping all over current/future sets rather than reaching back to beloved sets and slopping all over those. But hey, I guess hype for 12 different border treatments of blood artist or whatever? The well is truly dry.
The remastered hype is much smaller and very different now than when we experienced time spiral. I think the old border and foil is clearly overused - I would like to see them switch it up.
They say "Master Set" I hear "Lets cash in on secondary market value and crash some cards in price" I just finished unloading over $20000 worth of MTG into High End and Sealed Pokemon and I regret nothing, I still Draft and play sealed and love Pauper, but WOTC is Garbage overall now...
I think the place this is REALLY going to shine is draft/sealed. I haven’t had a bad limited experience in a remastered set yet and I don’t expect this to be the first.
Me who is still collecting foundations
I'm still trying to finish off duskmourn 😂

They were both really fun to play and shocks helped rav. I think this is closer to dom remastered than rav remastered if I had to guess

It’s just one serial unfortunately, the Edgar headliner card, really wish they had done serial Emrakul poster art

That’s a great question and it’s hard to say until we see some of the early pre-orders

Super cool for people who haven’t been playing their whole life and don’t have these cards, I do so I have 0 excitement
What website are you on it seems like cheaper prices
Yes, it's a favorite set of many and one of mine. I just want an avacyn and I'll be happy.
ravinca rm collector was the best set i ever cracked

What ever happened to just playing the game instead of viewing it as a financial investment… THATS what really ruined mtg

just print the original innistrad booster boxes again and only sell them to people who play limited
Thought this was the political comedian Ryan Long doing a magic channel and I was stoked. Obviously not him after watching but still a good show.
I can’t imagine caring about what a bunch of scalpers think about a set.
I hope so I already paid for a collector box.
minmax in Addison IL?
That’s the one! Love those guys
Will good video be worth watching?
I like to think so 🤣❤️

That doesn’t seem remotely true lmfao
Yeah well, pre-ordered 6 Collector Displays for 250€/box 🙃
Your use of the word 'Normalize' hurt me in a new way
Glad I could be there for you ;-)
No.
Lmao bro
They didn't include day/night mechanic. I don't want it
