Crazy thing about trends is that everybody is doing it…personally I’ve always been drawn to the out of the ordinary…that’s why I like the most ordinary- standard.
Dragonstorm and edge of enternies are the only magic sets and there's a huge possibility that game of thrones and guardians of the galaxy will be shoved into them with chase reprints So tbh everything will be universes beyond
First, Gratz on 10k! :D Second, I'm not sure I necessarily agree with your assessment that having all the cards filter through Standard means that we'll be going back to sifting through cards in order to find something that might be great for Commander. Those days are long gone, everything, every single card that's put in every set from now going forward will have already been scrutinized during development if it was to be pushed for Commander or not-Commander, and I think those will be very, very obvious. Big, flashy thing that says "opponents"? Commander. Cheap, niche application with a single target? Not-Commander. They're just selling everything all in a single set at a time with a jacked up MSRP :)
I use UB and the D&D sets to teach friends Magic. They’re a lot more interested in learning and playing with an IP they know. I don’t think they should’ve been added to standard or have 3 sets a year though.

Dude you lifting bro? Call out Louis. Last podcast he had multiple bad takes. I love the banter. George ultimately is the fail. Boster snacks?
Dead internet theory?
UB is bad
it can't be all bad - someone surely likes it!
sadly UB is also now completely unavoidable aside from old frame formats and cube.
