      Haha, coffee beans being animal-based would be quite the plot twist! 😄 Don’t worry, they’re just little plant-based seeds doing their thing. That said, many in the carnivore community do decide to include coffee in their daily routine-it’s one of those personal choices that works well for some! Thanks for sharing your TIL moment-it gave me a good laugh! 😊☕

    • @severineskitchen
      @severineskitchen Месяц назад

      75 Hard is a mental toughness program designed by Andy Frisella. It focuses on building discipline and resilience through consistent daily habits over 75 days. It’s not primarily a fitness challenge, though exercise is part of it. The program includes five daily tasks: 1. Two 45-minute workouts - one of which must be outdoors, regardless of the weather. 2. Follow a diet - any diet you choose, as long as it aligns with your goals. There are no cheat days or meals allowed. 3. No alcohol or cheat meals during the 75 days. 4. Drink one gallon of water each day. 5. Read 10 pages of a non-fiction book to develop your mindset and knowledge. The goal of 75 Hard is not just physical improvement but cultivating mental strength, consistency, and a greater sense of accomplishment. It can be challenging, but many people find it empowering. It’s important to know, though, that this program isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay! It’s about pushing yourself if it aligns with what you’re looking for in your personal journey.

      @MichaelDirk Absolutely! The carnivore diet definitely calls for a bit of flexibility and personalization, especially when it comes to adding a touch of sweetness. While some people can tolerate a bit of maple syrup or honey without a significant insulin response, it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. For those keeping a close eye on insulin levels, allulose is a fantastic option that brings sweetness without the spike! 😊

      Here is the recipe card for you, I will make sure to have one for each recipe. **Ingredients** * 1 cup of bone broth (chicken or beef) * 3 tablespoons of high-quality gelatine powder, ideally organic * Flavours (optional): rock salt, honey, or a little squeeze of lemon-your choice!
**Method** 1. Begin by heating the bone broth until it's hot but not boiling, then pour it into a bowl. 2. Gradually sprinkle the gelatin into the broth while whisking gently but quickly to avoid any lumps. Continue whisking until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. 3. Divide the mixture into three small ramekins to create three different flavors. 4. Add your desired flavors to each ramekin and mix gently: a pinch of salt, a teaspoon of honey, and a squeeze of lemon. 5. Place the ramekins in the fridge to set for 1-2 hours. 6. Once firm, cut the gummies into squares or use a cookie cutter for fun shapes. 7. Enjoy! Store any leftovers in the fridge for a few days.

    Love chicken livers. What a great idea to include in the meatloaf. Will definitely be making this.

    Honey... is pure sugar. Defeats the purpose of a carnivore lifestyle. It's mainly fructose, which causes fatty liver disease. Maybe as a keto treat, but not a carnivore treat.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts! You bring up a great point about honey and its sugar content. It can definitely be more suitable as an occasional treat for those following a keto lifestyle rather than a strict carnivore diet. Everyone’s approach can be a little different, but I appreciate your perspective on staying true to the carnivore way! 😊

    I put cow liver in my ground meat. Delicious. But I can't eat cow liver on its own. Apparently, the only vitamin A toxicity from liver has happened from polar bear liver. So don't eat polar bear liver. lol.

      Absolutely, never eat polar bear liver! It would be hard to find for most people but it’s important to stay away from it!
