Any recommendations as where to eat meat not necesarrilly steaks in paris ? I cant cook on my hotel and im going there for work in the start of november and the only time i can eat is at noon - night. Walks is for sure but not sure where to munch on budget meat optioned restaurants - joints. Going there for four nights. Last time i was in paris i cheated with bagguettes and regreted it cause i still to this day cheat on carnivore diet, meaning my addiction struck back and im on and off carnivore all the time. Plus having a trigeminal neuralgia where i cant chew and eat mostly burger patties and pulled beef doesnt really help either. Please let me know if u know anything 🫶🏻
Thank you for your comment! I totally understand your situation-traveling while staying on the carnivore diet can definitely be a challenge, especially in a city like Paris where tempting bread is everywhere! For budget-friendly meat options, I'd recommend looking for brasseries or bistros that serve steak haché (similar to a burger patty). This is often on the kids menu, so you'd have to explain that you want meat but can't chew at the moment and would really appreciate if you would order one or two steak hache. For something even more casual, Paris has many kebab joints that offer grilled meats-just ask for them without the bread or sides. Kebab is minced meat with herbs and spiced. Even if you can’t technically cook in your hotel room, there are a couple of handy tricks to keep you on track. You can boil eggs in the kettle or ask for boiled eggs at breakfast, then save them for later to have for lunch or dinner. There’s also quite a good selection of ham and other cold meats in French supermarkets, which you can bring back to your hotel room. While these might be processed meats with some additives, they’re definitely a better option than giving in to the tempting breads and viennoiseries around! I know it's tough sticking to carnivore, especially with your trigeminal neuralgia, so I really admire your commitment. Just remember, you're doing great by planning ahead! Hopefully, these suggestions help you stay on track. Wishing you a wonderful and enjoyable trip to Paris! 🫶🏻✨
