The only thing impressive is the magazine count... other than that... the engenring of everything else even the mag integrated freed ramp is is over engineered garbage... lol... Just like the gen 3 sub 2000... they had to over engineer the new fold and twist barrel.. instead of concededing their gen 2 was inherently inferior to a simple side folding model like the S&W... but no they had to over engineer it into superlative trash... lol... and the price for the CP 33 is beyond the pale... more like 450-500 before transfer, tax and other BS... and $50 for cheap crappy plastic magazines.... The gun and four spare mags you're into it $750-800.... Bahwahahaha

I like the back strap, as I and a 1911 guy also. I have several M&Ps, al have always liked them. I did sell a older Shield Performance center as i did not like the ported barrel due to the noise level if i needed to shoot it without hearing protection, reminded me of the noise level my Colt Diamondback puts out with the 2½ inch barrel. The gun shot great but never have liked ported barrels on anything, so I fold it at a gun show in Tulsa a month ago, came out good, bought it off Facebook group, for $300 with holster and 500 rounds of Browning 9mm, sold the pistol for $400 and kept everything else. I bought my dad a EZ style 9mm as he is having issues controlling and loading as his hands are getting weak being 83 now. Back to the Equalizer, when I first got it it was sometimes not lock the slide back after the last round, and 9 out of 10 empty casings would land on my head! After a few hundred rounds and a couple cleanings that seems to have resolved itself and I plan on keeping it. I bought my 1st M&P in 07 or 08 after I got my CC permit, 07 is when Ks started CC. I bought the 9C gen 1. I later bought the 2.0 when it came out, but like you with not liking the grip safety, the 2.0 I could feel the corners where the mag meets the grip and ended up rounding them a touch so I couldn't notice it.

Really amazed at the level of suppression on the Glock 17. In this video it appears to be quieter than my suppressor on Ruger Lite which I'm not happy with at all, not only because of poor suppression but also because it is almost impossible to disassemble it for cleaning

I personally don’t let any oil into the firing pin or trigger assembly. I find they don’t need it, and introducing oil gets them much dirtier and will actually freeze the gun up in extreme cold. Great video though, that performance center version is sweet.

I just bought an M9. I had a 92, 30 years ago, but didn't like it, mainly because I didn't know how to shoot a handgun properly. I've carried a Glock for 31 years in law enforcement, but I wasn't ready for the 10 + pound trigger pull.

I've watched a couple videos that show how to break down, clean, and reassemble the M1 Garand. They were good but you went the extra mile to show various camera angles and close up subassemblies. I appreciate the detail you went into and the time you spent putting this together. I feel like I understand the rifle so much better now and I'm looking forward to taking it to the range and hear her ping 😁

It was an interesting video. I don’t own a Beretta and have never shot one. These days I am all striker-fire polymer. Despite all the allegations of the P320 firing without the trigger being pulled, I trust it more than I do a DA/SA semi-auto. I have seen too many people who are either unfamiliar, or worse untrained, with DA/SA semi-autos mishandle them. The most common mishandling is putting it back into their holster without de-cocking first. I have a Sig P229 Elite. In double action it has a long 9.5 lbs. pull and in single action it is 1.5 lbs, that is a significant difference and requires training and practice to handle safely. You talked about the overly aggressive stippling on the M9A4 and how over time that would bother your hand. I am right there with you. I have an AXG grip module on one of my P320s and the LOK Veloce grip panels that are used with the AXG grip module are far too aggressively stippled. I used them on the first day of a three-day tactical pistol course. After nine hours of training with the LOK Veloce grip panels, my hands were sore. I changed out the grip module to a standard Sig P320 grip module for the next two days of training. I love the metal AXG grip module, but I have to find a smoother replacement for the grip panels. You mentioned that Beretta is only offering one optics plate with the M9A4. Glock is only including one plate with their new MOS Glocks. It’s their No. 2 plate that fits the Trijicon RMR. They used to provide four. Fortunately, Vortex included a Glock plate with their Vortex Defender series. Watching you shooting both guns there appears to be some pretty significant muzzle flip. Again, an interesting video and very informative. I learned quite a bit from it.

27:37 I first field strip a 1911 Springfield Mil Spec in 2003. The clerk at the store showed me to go up and in at the same time. I practiced this with a beater and was able to eventually get it without scratching the frame. Some were harder than others, not going to lie. The Colts were pretty easy, but the Springfield were a little tricky. I haven't field strip a gun since 2008. Picked up a new gun yesterday. My question is this. Are all 1911s the same when inserting the slide stop? I've seen lots of people just pushing it straight in without going up and in like I was taught. Is it really a matter of preference, or do some guns require different methods of inserting the slide stop? I tried pushing it straight in with my Springfield's and Colt and never had luck. Most guys today just line it up and push it straight in.

I’ve used one of these plates. Not these brands, but same concept. I wasn’t a fan of it honestly. The sights sit super high. Way higher than I liked. The plate just doesn’t feel like it’s super tight, super flush, etc. I feel like I could definitely lose zero over a couple hundred rounds. I ended up returning the whole setup and sent in my slide to a local gunsmith to mill out my slide for the optic I chose. If the pistol is going to potentially save my life one day I don’t want some gimmicky setup that I don’t feel I can fully trust. I’d rather spend a little extra for a more tried and true setup.

Especially the carry size models. Imo manual safety and DA is confidence inspiring, not the opposite. Fan of the 84/85FS for those who prefer a safety-equipped carry.

Yo Jeff, a little tip for ya. On your bore snake, put a few drops of Hoppes No.9 in front of the first brush on the snake. Then put a few drops of your favorite CLP behind the second brush on the bore snake. My smith taught me this years ago. Keep the snakes in a zip lock bag and they're GTG for 6 months or so. In theory you get the cleaning benefit of No. 9 and the protection from the CLP. It works on all calibers like a charm. Just bought my wife an Equalizer. Looking forward to picking it up from the FFL early next week. Looks like a perfect pistol for her. Her hands have become too arthritic to rack the slides on her current pistols comfortably. After doing my in depth (watched a few YT's) research, I bought her this. $449 shipped the FFLfor the Equalizer Range Pack. The pistol, 5 mags, (1-10,1-13, and 3-15's) the maglula, and a cool Tac-Six double pistol range bag. Thanks for the video
