Keep in mind, it has limitations. You follow all the same firearm safety rules. Don't only rely on this air pistol for protection, and you need to practice often to shoot accurately. You will also need to buy extra magazines. Hopefully intruders aren't breaking in with a real firearm and if they do that you have a back up plan or beat them to breaching your house. #airsoft #pelletgun #review #d...

      Would t be able to answer the question. However, you get rifles rated up to 1000fps and not sure if they change the seals when they insert the stronger action/spring/piston. Manufacturers dis t spend $$$$$ designing a gun for us peasants to modify and think we know more lol!! I don’t do this test often tho.

    Dieseling can and will destroy your rifles... don't do this...matter of fact Dieseling will cancel out your warranty... If you diesel even one time, you will have to send it in for Maintenance, a professional will be able to tell you have Dieseled your break barrel air rifle...the damage done by Dieseling may not be apparent at first, but the seals Canon Will form micro cracks that will cause them to fail....at this point it would probably be cheaper just to buy a new break barrel air rifle....

    I completely agree in some circumstances a bb gun like these could be effective and i see they penetrated meat in the tests. I have actually been shot several times by a bb pistol which shot a steel bb at 400fps at very close range on bare skin and none of the bbs penetrated my skin. It hurt and left a small bruise but never went into me, so im not entirely convinced this test is representative what would actually happen to a human, although i really appreciate you doing this video. That being said i still think several shots to the face of an attacker wpuld deter them in most circumstances, as they do hurt.

    • @firenmeat6902
      @firenmeat6902 8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the comment and feedback. Gotta find something that is similar to human skin, they say pig skin, but I've cut up so many pigs that pig skin is way thicker. And, agreed shooting it from the meat side is def not a true representation what it will do to a human. Now, why did you get shot with a BB gun? 😄

  • @HR-wd6cw
    @HR-wd6cw Год назад

    Not sure i would do that to be honest. If someone found a way to break the handle, they would still have to find a way to disengage the secondary lock, but with the belt in place, it woulid be possible to break the handle and disort the secondary security lock at the same time -- all they would have to do is damage it or bend it enough so the pin slips out when opened.

    People fail to realize all air pistols and air rifles come with a warning label. "Will cause serious injury" even death, not a toy. A combination of bear spray and any air pistol over 300 fps is devastating. An high powered PCP over 700 fps is lethal. Air guns are in my opinion a good option..

    You will get more consistent results if you put the oil in the skirt of the pellet instead of the chamber. I have found that a tiny dab of vaseline works best, as it stays in the pellet. I have done this with both .177 and .22 pellet rifles and have had the result of them making a sonic crack like a .22 long rifle cartridge. My chronograph shows that I am getting a 200 to 300 fps boost in velocity.

    Use chest rub. Fill the cup of the pellet to level. The salve stays in place and offers consistent results. Glue a . 177 bb into the hollow point recess of a .22 Crosman hollow point. This combination punches through satellite dishes at 50 feet. The salve allows me to keep a dieseled pellet in my springer air rifle, uncocked and ready to be presented as a door prize indefinitely. At 7 yards it is certainly lethal.

      We've used it a few times and it was adequate to blind within 13 meters. There are stronger flashlights out there. When deploying we've also strobed to get a general sense of area aim and blinding a person will require us to have the flashlight on a little longer than needed. Strobe works just as good

      I tried the vaseline salve putting a small amount of that in the skirt of the pellet. I tried it in a Diana Eleven cal.177 and in a single shot handgun Gamo P900 (not the nitro piston version). The same pellet in the P900 was not able to pierce a plastic bottle at 6 meters (6 yards circa) but the same pellet dieseled with a vaseline salve pierced the plastic bottle at the same distance and I did see smoke from the muzzle and it smelled like a burnt candle. The power in more is significant: I was wondering if it is like to shoot an hypothetical firearm in .177 caliber like many users say that in a .22 air rifle they compare the sonic crack with the sonic crack of a .22 cartridge.
