Nope Lamborghini is going strong. Sadly is that the McLaren 720S GT3 gone from IMSA. Do note that the McLaren Artura GT4 is racing in the IMSA Michelin GT Challenge. Thanks for the kind words my friend. I've sadly cancelled by plans for Sebring where the Aston Martin Valkyri will makes it's debut. Will see it later in the season.

@ the Valkrie will be interesting to see… Sebring is another I need to see. Sorry to hear McLaren 720 is gone that is a cool car… I love the BMW’s but my guess is they are still I competitive

Got lucky as the car was about to go through inspection of which was closed. The doors were kept open to air the car out. In other cases. I asked crew members to open the cockpit for viewing. If there not really busy they are happy to fo it. I managed to score a few team shirts for my son and a few others from a driver that I met a few years ago and was wearing an old shirt of his. He told me to see his team manager to update my wardrobe. She laughed and asked me what sizes and how many. She said I'd need more than one. Great people.

@ Sweet! Yeah I am planning to hit the roar next year and hang out before heading home to watch the race. I have some friends going down there for the race next week!

The Roar was so busy today that they closed infield parking around Noon Georgia state police closed traffic at the Petit Le Mans due to over capacity. I get in about 700am and park my Corvette at the International Hairpin.

I was actually dead wrong. Only 300.000 USD with used ones less than 100.000. Just discovered that IMSA is still reviewing homogulation and until it is approved AS IS,it cannot be raced. They may request changes before able to race.

Thanks Patito. These are really cool. Was just talking with the team today. Father Son team racing in the VP Challenge which pits Bronze drivers against each other in LMP3, GT3 and GT4. Started this last year and added GT3 this year. As we're talking the 1st race of 2 is now over. Can catch it at the IMSA RUclips channel. Only 45 minutes to watch. Very cool.

Me too. It will be at Sebring although sadly I will not. Tired of staying in cheesey hotels. Had to check out of the one I started the week with for a better one. I will do Road America instead...they have a free Corvette Coral...Ha.

I'm heavy into F1 during the off season and because I have so many sports cars and really only collect Spark. Just not much out there now. This Is a great model from Stone Models. I am however dissappnted with them as Spark McLaren ,the one with the triple livery for 79.00 in 1/43 is now going for 500.00 really 500.00. Hope nobody is stupid enough to buy it.

Thanks for your feedback. They have always been a great value, in 2017 the LMP2 s even better. I'm just glad to a new generation of LMP3s as I was really feeling they were dead in the water.

Not these LMP3s. Used to have a Nissan V8, now Toyota turbo V6. These are entry level cars for those new to racing. Thanks for your response

Hi Kenneth thanks for replying. You are so right about the carbon fiber. I have a friend with Mutlimatic and she was showing me new undergrads, splitters, diffusers and wings. Really cool seeing all of the neat and new carbon baked modular parts being used today

My god 85 inch..Wow. Check out my video of the roll put from ATOP the paddock looking down at the cars as they roll out. Very cool. Can't beleive it took my 4 years to think about. Best wishes to you and hope your nowhere near the 🔥. If you have family or friends that are, let them know that the nation is thinking about them. The Daytona area may get snow, yes snow ❄️ a couple of days before the race. May see it during practice.

Alberto, I stay in some crappy places to go to all of these races without going bankrupt. But at least you get a nice look at some cool cars that many will never see. One day I would like to visit Spain and watch a race. I'm glad you appreciate how cool these cars are.

You never know what you are going to see every day down here. Sadly I will not be staying for the race due to other obligations.

I don't think that will happen sadly due to a lot of factors. On the bright side, you got to see them first and suspect if you follow IMSA in 2025, you will see them again most likely on RUclips.
