Top Speed area about the only brand I don't have as I only have (4) 1/18 scale models and (2) are Sparks. The other (2) are Auto Art and IXO. But every time I attend a race and see TopSpeed in the IMSA tent, I'm tempted.
WE all buy cars, not so much brands. HPI and TSM are great. I find myself buying Spark these days almost exclusively because they just about make everything and do it well. Yes, I'm a Spark snob.
Spark lover yes, Spark snob no. That is because I kinda collect 1/43 races not cars. I collect at the moment Le Mans 1954 - 1979 and 2003. And Spark does not make every model of these races. Of 2003 I have 43 cars of 5 different brands: Minichamps, Spark, Ebbro, Red Line and IXO. Of 1979 51 cars, 6 brands and of 1954 31 cars, 11 different brands. But me too I prefer Spark but Minichamps, Bizarre, Ebbro, IXO and especially Trofeu are fine too. I dislike Top Model, Quartzo, Art Model, Best Model, Red Line. I would like to check out True Scale Miniatures, AutoBarn and BBR because they seem to look very decent.
like you, I have models of almost every brand. However, these days Spark make about 98% of my purchases with TSM 2%. TSM have IMSA exclusive rights, you will find them quite good.
I think im a vip member. Now Spark is not the place im looking for automatically for my racing needs in 1/18 anymore as theres more variety in brands. However it did in 1/43
Definitely not a Spark snob but a quality seeker for sure. Quite like to have different brands, still need some Looksmart models, maybe even a Make Up Eidolon.
I've seen your collection and it is excellent. I came up with this idea because 1. Spark is 98% of what I buy and have been disappointed by most other brands.2. Looking for a Dodge Viper and it's got to be a Spark. As you know I love TSM, LookSmart and HPI. But facing facts, Spark makes everything new and old their current productions are excellent. I am a Spark Snob.
@markzebr6463 I know Spark make the 2010s ish Viper but I don't think they make the classic Vipers. Minichamps might actually be your best bet. Autoart make the competition coupe.
I got a few Spark models after having many Minichamps F1 models and a few road cars. The detail on Spark is absolutely stunning there is no other way to describe it, Minichamps has fallen so much behind their midels are not worth the money at all, there is competition, the only great Minichamps models are F1 and only F1. I added to the collection recently the 1952 Mercedes 300 SL Le Mans Winner, 300 SL road car 1956, 1955 Mille Miglia Mercedes 300 SLR winner, few Porsche road cars including the GT1 and some 1980 Rothmans era Porsche Le Mans winners
Welcome to the tight family of Spark Snobs. I agree with you almost totally The only brands that I collect today are Spark, TSM and LookSmart. I have only a couple of Mini Champs GT3 and F1. I have found all of them lacking compared to Spark. Thanks for watching and sharing.
Poor Hot Wheels.
No, i'm not a Spark snob
The hot wheels were my sons. Come on Alberto, admit it...deep down inside you're a Spark Snob..
@@markzebr6463 I could consider myself as a Bburago snob, but not as a Spark one
Nothing wrong with being a Bburago snob.
Yeah im a spark snob😂😂
happy to have you on board!
I'm just a snob.
Thats OK.
Porsche Spark snob present! Have a couple of TopSpeed's and that's only because Spark didn't produce them.

😂 yeah, I guess so. Although I have another HPI arriving today.

Kinda cause I do have some Top Speed IMSA models lol but 90% of my collection are Spark Porsches
@Esteban-Matamoros My kind of snob..thanks for watching and welcome to the Spark SNOB help group.
@ thanks mate!

Less there are. I salivate over 1/18 all of the time. Just no room.
