I do like ephemera holders and always find ways to use them. The tone on tone papers are so classy. Stamped images are so versatile. I have so many stamps and LOVE them. Camoes are so pretty . Never apologize for your heater. The weather here north of Toronto is -23°c with the windchill 💨

Hello Chantal… Your ephemera holders are lovely. I can see them being enjoyed by a fellow crafter, particularly in a junk journal… I can also see one of these tucked in a front pocket / tuck spot inside a handmade journal of similar style to have added embellishments at the ready. While I’m getting more comfortable with fussy cutting using Marta’s collage books, I prefer to use my Brother ScanNCut to cut out stamped images. I usually have stamping then cutting sessions where I do several full pages of images for my journals (PaperArtsy, Dylusions, Art by Marlene, etc.) My daily creativity this week has been coloring in some Dylusions cut-outs with Dylusions inks in water brushes and today’s play will be creating a completed layout in my 9x12 portrait journal that I had wanted to finish last year but… didn’t. There’s 5 pages left to do… I have images colored for 2 of those pages… hoping to catch up on a variety of ideas this year by changing things up and breaking it down into smaller bites. I also have 5 more of Marta’s books to create pages with in my 5x8 visual journal (I have done 9 pages in it this year!). I love that I have been able to get more creative again in part by making it a priority and accepting snippets of time as opportunities. The "fasteners" are called Brads. I wish I could give you an easy way to remember, but I can't 😞 I have a hard time remembering their name too! 😑

These are lovely with all those textures and soft colors. I don't know whats going on with me but lately all I want are baby blue flowers mixed with light browns and creams. Lovely ! I did LOADS, 6 crates full of various ephemera, yes great time saver, for various styles of journals , BUT in my hast I didn't keep them sorted in the specific styles, soooo now , I still have to take time looking through ALL the bags in the crates, !! So hope this will be helpful 😅❤😊

I make decorations for journals all the time and build up my stash. I love doing this. I keep them more neutral so I can add color to fit a specific journal when I actually use it.

Hello Chantal… It’s always so nice to hear your cheerful voice and watch you being creative. Those scrap papers are beautiful… I love all the vintage, soft, muted colors that play so nicely together. I haven’t wandered through my paper stash is quite a long time and I think I would see it with fresh eyes now after watching your videos. I’ve never purchased digital papers but it’s something I’m curious about after seeing some of yours that you use. And… I’m a sucker for embossed paper and thus embossing folders. My favorite greeting cards are when I’ve used an embossing folder. I have a ton of them… well… maybe not a ‘ton’ but quite a few of various sizes and styles. I love your journal elements / components you created today and I can most certainly see them used together. When you ask what we think while you’re checking something out, I usually answer out loud even though you can’t hear me. LOL When you first put that flower appliqué on the folder/pocket, I said, “YES” but after you went here and there and around, I also loved the results with the embossed paper and sheer ribbon. As far as 10K plans… I think a give away is a lovely idea and I also like the idea of going LIVE… I can see how having a timeframe would be quite difficult to find what fits the most people. I’ll turn on the notifications so I’ll know when you go LIVE on my cell phone (I usually watch your videos on my iPad). It would be lovely to ‘chat’ and create together… I’m continuing to be creative daily… catching up on my Marta collage pages in my 5.5x8 Visual Journal. Only 7 more pages to go (Christmas & Winter books). I’m doing whispers between the music notes now… I’m doing a little of this and a little of that… following your lead on creating my own junk journal is on my 2025 list to do. I've never known what to do with velum sheets untill now thank you for the idea. :). I used wax seals when I was young at the time all I could get was my initials and wicked candle sticks. I've recently gotten back into using wax seals and love the large number of seals now available. I always hated the soot in the seals but you can use rose shears to cut the candles into small pieces to use on your spoon. Also get a furnace to hold the spoon over the candle. Less stress on your arm. Love the envelope ideas. :).

I do enjoy making envelopes. 💌. A great design element. Vellum is one of my favourite papers because it gives a little bit of mystery. Wax seals are a lovely addition

If you save your mail envelopes with windows, you could trim them and use as a substitute for the vellum or clear material.
