Hello Chantal… I love your post cards! I love how you combined Marta’s collage artwork with the Taperology rub-ones with those lovely Kraft Post Cards that have a nice vintage/county vibe to them. I actually finally created Christmas Cards again last year after sending bought enough cards for the previous handful of years. I really enjoyed making them and I tried very hard to not overthink it. I love the idea of having embellishments/collage fussy cut elements/ephemera/etc. at the ready to just let the creativity flow. Thanks for sharing your creativity and inspiration. I got Marta’s 5 newest books this week and think I’ll flip through them again this evening because they’re just so beautiful! =) PS Have you seen Vicky P using Marta’s collage books? It’s Vicky Papionano from Greece (I can’t spell her last name) I was so excited because she is my muse - she (and Rachel Black) got me started doing art journals to begin with in 2015/2016. Hello Chantal =) wish I could give you a thumbs up for each style of envelope! They are all so lovely… those papers are gorgeous… I’ve never purchased digital content before so it’s something I’ll have to figure out at some point. Currently it’s embarrassing how much scrapbook paper I have especially since I haven’t done it in years but… I LOVE PAPER! 😂 oh… speaking of paper… the 3 sets of Marta’s rice paper arrived today. It actually only took less than 10 days once it was actually mailed. BEAUTIFUL… it would be so difficult to choose a favorite because they’re similar but different and all gorgeous. I look forward to spending time with you on Saturdays whether you’re creating in a junk journal, making ephemera, or using Marta’s images in an art journal. I love the soft and dreamy papers. I like to store special ephemera in envelopes. Making your own gives you freedom to use your own paper and choose the size . Thanks for the refresher tutorial. I bought a bunch of cards without envelopes at a destash sale. I am going to make pretty envelopes. 💌

I am really enjoying your videos. I am subscribed to so many channels that I forget to watch some of them. Your library of videos is such a blessing for me. Hello Chantal… adorable journal page… I love that small square size journal. I also got a couple from amazon but haven’t used them yet but I just loved the idea of quick, small projects which can be so satisfying. I’m not sure if I ended up commenting on your last video or if I waited to have time to chat but I wanted to share a couple of things with you. I actually ripped out my FIRST page from a Vintage Book (c 1927) and used it as background behind one of the Bontanica blooms in my 5”x8” journal of practice layouts. The other thing that was cool and was either a first or something I haven’t done in years - I actually used my Inktense pencils to add a touch of color to the leaves and blooms which changed it enough to still be vintage but with my own color adaptation. So cool… I love your layout, your signature touches, and the cute fairy… I’m hoping my rice paper comes soon as it’s been quite a while since I ordered it (close to $100 US for all 3 sets with shipping)… they’ll arrive when I quit thinking about it, right??? =) Hope you and your son feel better SOON… I had the sniffles yesterday but thankful to be feeling better today. It has been cold out and my siblings & I drove up to the 1,000 Islands for a long weekend last weekend - I was under a blanket but…. ??? Oh well… Take care and have a wonderful weekend!!! 🙂
