I do agree there are times to lose yourself in crafting and just coast along. Other times you have so little time because something else is on the agenda. SUPER video. ⏰
Hello Chantal… How FUN is this?!? I LOVE the idea of the challenging time restraints to help prevent overthinking as well as appreciating just what can be accomplished in a short amount of time especially when you have some materials handy to work with. Last fall I did a couple of months of daily collage using limited supplies and I enjoyed it so much. I really need to do that again as I’m feeling a bit stuck lately… mostly from having too many options to play with so instead of just picking one, I don’t do any of them… maybe because I can’t do all of them??? I don’t know… what will be will be… I need to start with a clear surface! Which I’ll find after I check out a couple more of your videos. Thanks for sharing your creativity and inspiration! Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
Hi Sue, Yes, that is pretty much the same thing as limiting your supplies. I also feel stuck many times. I think that, just like you, I want to play with everything, and I end up doing nothing. Creativity paralysis. But challenging yourself like I did or, like you mentioned, can really help jump start everything. Tha k you being here Sue. Hugs 🌼🌷🤗
Hi Suzy. It was "fun stress" so all good lol. It's fun to just throw myself out there all in good fun to show that we have more time than we think and to stop using lack of time as an excuse to not craft. I do that and then realize I just lost 2 hours scrolling on my phone.. lol
Crafting/painting in a time frame is definitely NOT for me. I often cut 5/6 things and have to try all of them in different places ,then swap again, then swap again till I get something I’m happy with. It takes me forever to be satisfied with a composition. But your laughter was contagious and made me laugh with you. Glad you didn’t take it too seriously. All your creations were lovely as well so good on you.
Hi Judith! Well, I usually take my time too, and I'm also very indecisive about what I want to put as an element etc. However, this exercise is mostly aimed at getting us to realize that we do have more time than we think and we need to stop procrastinating under the excuse of no time. I know I do that a lot. Lol thank you for being here and have a wonderful day! 🌼🤗🌷

Thank you 😊 it is just a fun little way to show we can "make" time. I'm happy you enjoyed it. 🤗🌷
