Greeting From Albania. I am new at this procces. I want to learn how to weld the rims because i also work at e tire shop, so this was going to be very useful for me. But i have something i want to ask you. When i weld the aluminum and i think everything is ok, when we put the tire back on the wheel it keeps leaking air from the welded spot. Please can you help me ? And i also want to thank you about the video, I found it very helpful.

Very cool and informative, thank you. I just watched your tire stretching video and was wondering if you've ever tried a sand bag with a hold like a donut and an extra thinner sand bag donut hole insert. It seems to me that the donut hole would give you the same shrinking / stretching effect as the tire concept and having different thickness donut hole inserts would provide the extra needed support.

Ive accidentally brassed things before, and you dont need *that* much heat, but you have to run the brush a bit more. I guess you can creat the heat you need with just the wheel. I could be wrong, but i liked to play in the shop on my free time.

did you put a metal sealer on the inside of the fender before you put the inner structure back on if so,what type is best.

Of you heated the metal would it be more pliable to hammer ?

Thanks for responding to my posts, because many who have many followers don't do so but ask for feedback. What's great about your videos is that we say to ourselves that we would be able to do it. The English wheel, the bead roller and other tools can be found for very little money for an amateur. What you do is fascinating and what's more, with explanations, for me, I have YT translate it and it works quite well.

I'm always amazed, you have to be clever, like here using a piece of metal as a model. On the other hand, finishing with a hammer and dolly at the end certainly requires more know-how. The repair is perfect and invisible.

All the aluminum wheels I've seen repaired, were done poorly and still leaked. One apparently was so bad that it caused a tire to blow out. Just know what you're doing or just straight up replace it.
