I live in Washington state. Every cigar shop I've been to here sells Seattle pipe club. I just picked up a 2 oz tin of Seattle evening. I love English blends.

All have guns?Wery good ,everywhere should be like that since anyone should be able to protect his/her loved ones and property .Dont sneak around other peoples dwelling and you wont be shot .How would you like strangers to roam and steal of your property?USA at least give the citizens a chance to deffend themselves.Also how can you say that few coluumns are creepy .A dude nailed to a cross isnt way more creepier plus the priest encourage the flock to eat the dudes flesh and drink his blood?Even it is a capital sin not to believe that real flesh and blood is given to the flock.There is a name for those who consume human flesh ,they are called cannibals and those who drink human blood are vampires .To me and many others this is the creepiest event what take place every sunday in churches.I really dont understand why is peculiar if others revere ancient gods.

I am going to Germany at the start of next month and will definitely seek this one out - Mallard and Mallard with Perique - might also get some salty dogs too, but worried how strong that might be

I have one of those 5th avenue straight diplomats on order. Want it to be a straight partner to my bent country gentleman. Perfect bowl size. Love its simple lines.

I am used to smoking cool and easy english blends and the first time i smoked deluxe navy rolls i roasted my mouth so bad using english cadence. I had to give my mouth 2 weeks to recovery then i tried another bowl in my natural corn cob with a balsa filter and did micro quarter sips and the flavors that emerged were incredible. Its so rich, i love it. Will need to add more vapers to the cellar. Great video!

My blend notes: -Definitely performed best after drying a bit -Not "knock your socks off level" strength like some say, but one for the pipe SMOKERS -Tastes like nice pipe tobacco. I'm new so I can't fully appreciate yet.

I still have a tin from 1991 that I have not opened. I smoked it first in the early 90's and found it too harsh in the back of the throat though some of the Vanilla bean notes were of interest. The mixture burns poorly and produces a very blue smoke. This is a big nicotine blend and renders a harsh room note. Effectively, this is a blend from another time and unlikely to appeal to very many.

Just came across this video. Been smoking consistently for about a year and on and off for 10. I think you described Escudo NDL perfectly. I love the way it smokes consistently and not only does the flavor maintain throughout as you said, i find the last third of the bowl to be the best part (as long as it is smoked at the goldy locks moisture content). Too much moisture and the flavor seems to be subtle. Too little moisture and it still tastes great, but with a little harshness. With the perfect moisture content, the smoke is pillowy and consistently pleasant down to the ashes. It has always been a strange one for me, as it does not immediately jump out as being anything out of this world. But once it becomes a familiar flavor something about it makes me miss it when I don't have it.

That place and the weather really invites to smoke a pipe, however I am smoking mine at the backyard on rainy afternoon

Corey, I don't know how, but I missed seeing this post. You are looking good, my friend. I'm loving the hat 👍Seaside has quite an extensive beach - reminds me a little of Santa Cruz. Although east coast sunrises can be beautiful, I miss the vibe of the west coast sunset. Paradoxical, the tobacco, sounds a bit like it's namesake, the word. Creamy, neutral, stout, strong, bold - I didn't hear 'for the audacious pipe smoker', but, perhaps, that would apply as well 😉 I do know one pipe smoker who would relish this tobacco at breakfast time. He is definitely a nicotine heavyweight. Well, you exercised due diligence in alerting the newer, less-experienced smoker and the nicotine delicate to what they might expect - although I still did keep getting the impression that perhaps a biohazard sticker on the back of the tin might be appropriate. Seaside seems like a nice place for a short getaway. It's particularly encouraging to hear that you had a few more sheltered places where you could enjoy your pipe. It's becoming all to common for any outdoor public space - park, trail, path, pavilion, or even empty field to be designated as smoke free. There is no peaceful park bench or even stone outcropping on which the pipe smoker may sit and enjoy a bowl of good tobacco 😢I am convinced that a large resurgence in pipe smoking might have a tempering effect on our national character. Do you have any recommendations as to what other tobacco blend comes closest to Paradoxical? Paradoxical is now my favorite blend to smoke, but since it's limited edition I won't be able to smoke it forever haha. I haven't been a piper for even a year and so have not experienced too many blends. Great video!

Just got a 2 year old tin of this and I’m loving it. I don’t do well with a lot of perique usually, I guess the 2 year age helped. Mellow and sweet, but a lot going on throughout the smoke. Great channel and review , thanks Corey.

I heard Tonquin was basically a cheaper Mexican vanilla flavoring bean - the Coumadin aspect requires a huge amount to be harmful and not sure if it’s smoked value is equal to its ingested properties. There are tons of artificial flavorings in foods that if isolated and concentrated would kill you - Arsenic is in apple seeds and coffee beans for example, not many people dying from eating apples or drinking coffee :)

Fond memories of Seaside and Cannon beach, my parents took me there for summer breaks back in the 1950's, wind was always present but that was part of the ambience of the place. Back in the days most folks like us rented quaint little ocean side cabins complete with wood burning stoves and rustic kitchens, a far cry from the present high rise jobs shown in your video, got to say I greatly prefer the nostalgic look and feel of those cabins. Keep puffin.

I’m not much for sand and salt water in my shorts, but I love wandering the beach when it’s peaceful. Hope you enjoyed the respite.

Hiyas Corey, a beautiful setting for a getaway from the everyday. For pure visual delight, you just can't surpass a beautiful sunrise or sunset over water. I have been thoroughly enjoying this blend; it neatly checks all the flavor boxes for me. I must say that "Aberrant" is my favorite of the series, followed closely by Paradoxical. I have to agree with you Cory. This blend is very well done. The flavors of Wood, Chocolate, nuttiness, sweetness & spice is very enjoyable.
