Kudos looks great the time you spent are you 100 yrs old or was it a group effort? I live in an apartment. I started with the 036 then 042 now 072 in a 12 x 14 bedroom fast track on the carpet. I started too late in life, but I still have six locomotives 14 current diesels no Lionel legacies but now for the grandchildren everything you buy needs to talk engine revving, and diesel horn trying to keep them interested before I die. Most has been purchased on eBay and you get some bad ones. Thank goodness I have a friend in Berwyn Illinoisat Berwyn toys and trains the lion fix it man. Thanks for sharing your wonderful layout.

We have this issue on our club layout. You said any size insulated wire will work. Is there any benefit to use 14 AWG versus 18 AWG?

What scale are the vehicles?

I have watched many, many videos where they implore people to NOT use alcohol since it has such a high water content. George, Magic Eraser and the lacquer thinner look like effective solutions. Goo Gone is also recommended, by some as well. Thanks for that instructive video around your nice layout!
