How to make, cast & paint Woodland Scenics plaster rocks for your diorama or model train layout!!!
About this Channel - My name is George, and I would like to welcome you to my O Scale Layout! I am a Model Train Enthusiast, Scale Modeler, Builder.
This channel is dedicated to sharing my fine scale layout, and Lionel O Gauge Trains with you. I designed & built this complex layout with the purpose of simultaneously running as many trains as possible as well as realistic train operations.
The layout dimensions are 16' x 24' with just over 600' of track. This represents 5.45 statute miles in real scale. The layout also has 2 turntables with a combined 17 whisker tracks, 44 switches (turnouts), including 4 double crossovers, 3 bridges (each on color matched to actual bridges across the U.S.), 11 sidings, 8 main lines of track that can run 8 fully loaded trains simultaneously, 350 lbs. of ballast, 100 lbs. of plaster rocks, 200 realistic scale figures, 30+ realistic scale vehicles, multiple scale buildings, hidden fun features (finding Bigfoot, animals, movie references, etc.) 401 pcs of track, 3 transformers (1 Lionel ZW-L, 2 Lionel ZW's) & 1 custom control panel that controls it all.
Fun Fact: I was part of the construction management team during the construction of a train platform, adjoining train tracks and switches in real life. I share this experience in one of my videos!
I enjoy operating the layout and making really cool train videos to share with you.
