Hay Making By Hand - Part 3 Baling 2023
Hay Making By Hand - Part 3 Baling 2023
Hey! Welcome back to another episode everyone. If you're a returning viewer, thank you so much for the support! If you're new, welcome and good luck haha.
In this episode, I’m baling my cured grass, now hay. This luckily was during a heat wave, of 28c for 5 days. Hay ready in 3 days. Little to zero leaching, so I ended up with stunning greener dry bales. Winter came and passed, the girls ate all the bales! I had the perfect amount for them.
I do hope you’ve enjoyed this mini series and maybe inspired someone to try this themselves!
I appreciate all of you, thank you so much for tuning in. Please give my accounts a look and follow, if you like them. ev...

Loved your little compress the soil around the little willows dance! Question, with the willows so tiny, is there a risk that your sheep ladies have a bite, a little dessert of willow? … and as you can see I have no real clue what sheep’s are eating.

Hahah YES! So glad someone else noticed it, it was like a little 2 step dance haha. Willow is a natural forage for sheep, which is one of the reasons I planted it. That first section hasn't done well, due to it being a great scratcher. It's all fenced off now :).
