'Nightly' refers to builds that are compiled and released automatically, they are definitely not 'main' or stable builds, but they are pretty much the most bleeding-edge builds you can get without building it yourself.

Why don't you just click on 'release' and download the pre-release version with all the fixes that is updated several times a week and already has an auto-update feature? It's much easier and you don't need to have an account to download it that way.

Is there any way to currently get Bloodborne for the emulator without sacrificing my only Playstation console?

I'd be way more interested in knowing how to get Bloodborne to run as good as shown in some of your videos, because just out of the box Bloodborne runs sluggish. A video tutorial showing which build of ShadPS4 to use, which mods to use, where to get the mods, in what order to install the mods etc would be super helpful.

It's crazy to see how much the emulator has improved over the months. I've been following every video and enjoyed them a lot. This is one of the best channels on RUclips. and as a side note I really like to see more videos about breaking down the Fromsoft development and technical aspects of it all. Thank you so much!!

Some people literally complain about the dumbest things... it's a mod for people who had qualms with the game. If you find DS2 perfect, OK good for you? But there's a good reason DS2 is so controversial. I played through all of it (because I'm a masochist) and I wouldn't wish it upon my friends.

Would you recommend combining bearer of the curse and lighting engine together or just keep bearer of the curse by itself? Visualy, isnone better than the other or better if combined? I like your mod better as its easier and more friendly to install. No mod managers involved.

I think part of what made the Demon Souls remake look so much more premium was the nice lighting. Cool to see dynamic shadows in DS2, it was probably the most lacking part of the game as I always felt everything else was fine except the lighting (animations and textures) Is there prebaked AO also? I feel like it might cut off a lot of the overhead power requirements.

Okay I paid zero attention to who the mod author was for DS3 Embers. And of course it's you. This is goddamn brilliant though, I haven't played it in years but it looks nearly flawless. Saw just a few weeks ago that it had been barely running, then running with horribly mutilated lighting and weird vertex glitches and now it looks great. (Once "Big Torch" is solved I'll probably go through the whole emulator she-bang and use it)

occasionally my player model bugs out and stretches out blocking the camera any ideas about things i can do to improve it

Those areas still look way too dark without the player light source. I need to transfer the map files over to UE5 and finish making more than Central Yharnam. The game is progressing great on emulation, but without being able to go in and edit in some more light sources to make up for the lack of PlayerCharacter lighting, too many dark areas get completely washed. Awesome to see this project going as well as it is, though. I'm always down for giving Sony the finger.

A mod idead I would love for demon souls is replacing the moon grass with a sort of estus to make the game a lot harder. Just an idea 🙂

My copium take, I think Sony really wanted only Fromsoftware working on a remaster/remake of Bloodborne and I think that is one of the projects Miyazaki was alluding to a few months back. I expect the Bloodborne remaster/remake probably got started around the end of Elden Ring and throughout the DLC and now it's all hands on deck for it (at least the main team). I do think we will get an announcement for it in 2025. Also, this is looking really good. PS4 emulation is really coming along.

Probably going to wait until XMAS to revisit this gem .... :)

Hey I've been playing a bunch of the bearer of the curse mod and it's been awesome. Just wanted to come here and say I've only found a single bug. Right next to the "Soldiers Rest" bonfire room is another room. As soon as you leave this parallel room you can turn around and see clutter. The second you re-enter the archway into the room, all the clutter disappears but the collision is still there. Love all your guys' work. Thank you for giving me reasons to replay these games over and over and over
