Thank you for explaining what the small o-ring is for. Mine also didn't have the drain plug in the oil filter housing so after using up the large o-ring; i had the small o-ring leftover as extra and it confused the hell out of me.

Let me ask you I noticed the back of the screw the housing it screws into like a metal socket. Mine was cracked and I also noticed my screw my 30 T 30 screw is stripped. Where can I order a new one housing and screw

Do not plug that little orange valve. Do you even know what that does? It's called a de-ice valve. Sometimes you can get a layer of water on the bottom of the tank from a bad load of diesel and if it freezes, it will block off all fuel to the engine. If that orange valve is still operational, the engine can still draw fuel thru that hole until the ice melts. On the 7.3 the fuel gets heated in the fuel bowl on top of the engine via a heater element. Does not take long to de-ice the fuel tank from the heated recirculated fuel. Ya'll need to leave these items the way they came from Ford. There's reasons for everything. The more you know...

I wish I could find a video about how to reinstall the large plastic assembly lock nut. It simply will not rethread onto the tank even after cleaning it and spraying it with silicone spray. It simply binds and pops off after 1/4 turn.

Can it be replaced with joint grease?

You can also take a welder and weld a nut to the pin and the heat from the welder will loosen the pin .then take a impact gun on the welded nut pin is destroyed but you save the bracket

Pleas drop the "catalyst" word, it's a lubricant, not a "a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change". Also, be aware that the chemicals in the spray lube may damage some types of "rubbers" and cause them to become weak.
