i've had a lot of issues with chinas breaking, mostly ones with holes in them, but i've had a zildjian oriental 16" for a could years now and its holding up really nicely
A link of the product in the description would have been nice. And you want me to like and subscribe.
Most folk can type the product name into search engines. Unlike and do not subscribe.
Thanks for this video!! I am looking into buying Tama speed cobra. My feet size is about cm or 8 inches. Is this pedal suited for people who have larger feet? Or this pedal accommodates for all sizes? Thanks in advance.
All feet mate
Maybe don’t play death metal in the background when you are doing a sound demo lol
1. That is NOT death metal. 2. The music is low in the background, the cymbals are far louder. 3. You are obviously really bored.
Great info 👍

Love the Yamaha Oak Customs, hands down my favorite drums. I run 2-24x17" bass drums, the slightly shallower depth makes them respond a little quicker while being absolute cannons. Sick kit dude. Edit: I've never seen anyone other than myself run shallow rack toms straight to an 18" floor tom, my favorite setup.
It's funny how many people ask questions that are answered in the video. Did anyone watch it? LOL.= Great review. By the way, I own the same pedals with the trick drive shaft
It's the modern way mate. When those questions get asked, I chuckle. Cheers for watching
Personally, I ain’t to keen on the holy china but the over tones on that extreme is savage!! Probably the best China I think Iv ever heard! Thank you for this, I’m going buying on now!! Hahaha
Hi dude , I have bass drum beater that's really nice and want to remove it from the rod , I think they are glued to the rod. Any ideas of how to remove just the beater from the rod to then put it on a longer and newer steel rod ? ✌
I've never done that personally my guy. Maybe get a heat source to it.
i guess these are the 910s yeh? as they havet the cobra coils? or did you get the 310 and buy th ecobracoils separfate?
910's of course
@@heavydrumsinc4816ok thanks. I was thinking of getting the 310 as these will be my first double pedals but I guess from your review it’s worth spending the extra and going for the 910.
What is the main difference between the 310 and the 910, does it affect your speed or impact in some way?
I wouldn't know sorry man. I only ever go for the top versions. Sorry man.
I havehad the demon demon drive for a while, but I didn,t like it at all. Now I play the mapex falcons for a couple of years whith nylon straps. I am considering to buy these for their longboards and light design
Dude if you are breaking cymbals that fast you either have your cymbals clamped down too tight or you need to calm down. Ive had my oriental China for a decade maybe more.
Pro drummers get through cymbals quick too. Plus it depends how many hours your putting on them. I've got some cymbals I've had for 15 years , but there's a reason for that. Plus nowhere in the review did I mention all cymbals. Just certain models and types go relatively quickly.
the swivel spring was invented by sonor on their giant step pedals many year before tama used it
Yeah, but this is a different design.
Zildjian!
This drum sounds better whether tuned low or high than similar ones that cost a lot more. I've compared it to the Ludwig Legacy Mahogany and the Gretsch Swamp Dog and they're great but for the money, the Tama is a better value.
They definitely go well together
another good china its the sabian paragon
I've heard that. I've never tried one
I've been drumming for about 16 years now, like you said, good through every brand and series of metal cymbals. I agree that those holy chinas are 100% basically the best chinas, and also about what you said about this rudes. Personally, I've made the switch to all aax x plosions with x celerator hats and for the last 1.5 YEARS, not a single cymbal from the aax line has broken. The rudes are good, but personally i love the warmth and richness of those aax's
100% agree. For me explosions are perfect for sound. But also durability. I broke AA quick for some reason, but not aaxplosion. Rudes are great and durable but not that musical
Love seeing the nylon tips!!!! I have had so many debates over this subject and will not bend at all!!! I like the definition on hihats and rides! I play wooden sticks with nylon tips. Vic Firth 5B's with nylon tips, and love them. I wish I could find the same sticks with more length? But yet to find them?
You are so welcome!
You could buy a small lathe and make your own sticks any length you like.
Love the tight sound!!!! Awesome! Not a lot of ringing and very crisp attack! Thank you, did not know their snares sounded that good!
Yeah that brass snare was surprisingly good for the modest money. I wish I still had it
For China's try Wuhan!!!! I like all my Cymbals the same brand name also! I'm a Paiste guy,but Wuhan does China's really, plus they are durable and cheap money!
I have tried Wuhan way back. I remember going through one in one night. It just fell to bits. Had two never had them again. Pity as it sounded excellent
I've had Eliminators for the past twenty years and have been using their strap drives. The only thing that gives me slight pause with these SCs are the chain drives. Since you have experience with Eliminators, would you say that the SCs have a lighter feel? I need good response for quick doubles and am thinking of giving these a try..
I did have belt eliminators too. I'd say if you're happy with the eliminators don't switch. Personally speaking I can do the exactly same stuff at the same quality on both. For doubles I'd say the eliminators have a better bounce response. Thanks for watching
@@heavydrumsinc4816 I'm happy with them but have wondered for a while now if something would be better and even more responsive. I've never played a longer footboard and I have pretty big feet. If the SCs have a quicker/lighter feel and the longer board helps in that regard, that's enough to try. Have you ever tried the Dyna Syncs?
Thank you for the review! Much appreciated for your thoughts which has helped me immensely to decide. btw, you never mention which model this is. Maybe update the title or description? Cheers!
Glad it helped man. Na, any drummer would know what the model is. It's the only one worth mentioning. Cheers
I take both
aax's cresendo sounds similar to a 19 inch projection crash
Zildjian A custom for sure ❤🤟🥁. Playing with them for a long long time and they're fantastic... especially for heavier genres.
Hello again mate from Oz , I want to ask you if the AA Rock is heavier than the AAX ? I want to order the AA 18 Rock crash but only if it is thicker or heavier ? Thanks mate.
Yo. It is thicker than the aax.
@@heavydrumsinc4816 Thanks bud ......... Sabian Rules The Cymbal World.
Ben Gillies used this in the early Silverchair days. The 19” and 20”
Zildjian projeccion for me, both Great Simbals
Sabian all day
What about night time?
@@heavydrumsinc4816 to naughty to share those details. 😂. Everyone makes great cymbals now. I love the new Istanbul xist line. For the $ best value. Great vids btw. Keep it up
i have 1 pair of Regal Tip Alex Van Halen Signature and 2 pairs of Ahead: 1 is the TC like yours and 2 is WOS. They are very very nice to me. Rimshot ? No. Maybe i’m not a heavy hitter like you are. They last very good.
They've definitely got their plus sides. Definitely last longer.
Do you still prefer these to the demon drive? I have the SC and like them, but they feel too long for me. I don't have big feet and I am considering buying the demon drive since they are shorter. Thx!
Yeah more natural feel. The boards on this are definitely bigger so may suit you.
Great review. Thanks.
Glad it was useful. Thanks for watching man.
Zildjian sounds more “full”.
I love these but there is movement in the heel plate hinge. I don't know if they were like this brand new but I noticed movement after one week. It's like this in all the ones if seen in person after I noticed the wobble on mine. Just move the pedal side to side and you cans see it. If you put the pedal one a table and look inside the hole were the rod hinge is you can see the rod and bolts moving. If I was there in person I could show you. I use a trick drive shaft and DW control or Air beaters and love the feel but they can improve the hinge for the next gen. My DW 9002 and MDD's are built better but I prefer the way these feel. I use trick drive shafts on those as well. I'm going for the Dyna Syncs next and hopefully with the direct drive it will minimize the play in the heel. I hope they feel close to the Cobras. Something about the cobras feel great and I play my best on them. I like the 9002's but the MDD's I've had for years and still don't love them. I will probably need to sell them.
I've had them for 6 years and just played with the hinge movement. It's just a tiny bit of movement so I have bigger things to focus on but the Dynas should be fun. I hope to get them in a few weeks.
That's bad news. I must say I don't suffer from that with my set.
Your kick is tuned way too high to not muffle the fuck out of the beater head. If you like it that tight, you should have a pillow touching/covering at least 3/4ths of that head (so that when you mic you can still aim the mic at the top corner of the head and not just centered at a pillow). Otherwise you need to tune that head wayyyyyyyy way down and at least muffle the reso head with a smaller pillow. Also with those speed demon pedals, you’re riding down too low on the pedal which is why your heel toe is sloppy. Get the ball of your foot on that ball on the pedal. You’ll get a ton more out of those lovely pedals. Love to see new drummers getting into it! Keep it up homie!
Sabian all the way! Sabian cymbals are way better 🙌🏽🙌🏽
no mic aand that sounds amazing!!!!!!!
It's a high quality snare that one at a good price
Great demo, unsure on the explosion but now clarified with a darker sound, sounds great. Aa good but a bit to high pitch for me maybe better for more pop style music. Good job.
I'm using Sabian AAX set since 10 years. I never tried better sounding cymbals. The another one that i would like to try is Zildjian's A custom. Both has 'brilliant' or 'jingling' sound I should say not like K or HHX series. I mean for me the last two is too dark but still great sounding in the right music.
U should try solid state version of the speed demon! I tried one and loved it more than thw chain but I have a demon drive alrdy and they seem less sturdy for things like tours. They should still make them and that was before the new spring hinges. I just got thw demon drive because I play multiple styles of music so switching from long board to short board is super handy for me. Other wise I'd have to buy 2 pedals
They're good at rimshots?
Ahead sound great on snare and toms, but the ride cymbal sound sucks.
Very true
other than the crappy beaters the fact they don't have spikes on the left pedal to keep it in place is a let down. those silly little velcro square patches are stupid. its continually sliding forward on the carpet in the studio. anyone else have this problem? other than that I absolutely love it!
Hey man do you use the exact same spring tension on both pedals ?
Yes, 👍
Impresionante en qué tienda esta ?
#100 Cheers mate. Good to know! ☮

Original bitters are not too heavy for fast planning, i can't get used too, your bitters seems to be lighter.
