I had hoped that trim (sp) would gave been brighter! I thought perhaps a charge by a light would do it but no luck. I then thought there might be a covering over the lights and needed to be removed. Again, no such luck. Anyway, I am not to familiar as all can see so perhaps this is as bright as it gets and I just have to get used to it?!!

Very false information. This rifle supposed to put out around 14.7 joules per the website. That is far from "the most powerful less-lethal rifle". If this guy is laughing after getting hit than this product obviously isn't going to work for self defense and will likely get someone hurt or dead for trusting it. It's common sense.

Water softener salt is way cheaper. Probably get a few bags for the price of a box of these. Now if they also had pepper dust in them, they might be worth it.

I tested the launcher LE the first time a couple of weeks after I received it last October. Everything went fine, Today December 26, I tested it again, I loaded the CO2, and 5 Eco Kinetic. No problem after firing the first 3, then just clicks. I removed the magazine, removed the loaded projectile. I reinserted both of them, one worked, and then again just clicks. I replaced the CO2, reloaded with 5 Pro Training, just clicks it would not fire a single one. it's not funny to think that if you really need it, the launcher would jam. I noticed some people on RUclips mentioned and show they had the same problem with the LE, it doesn't fire sometime. I was told to send it back, I did so, I bet you will send it back as bad. By the way in the original kit I expected two magazine with 7 projectiles, you sent me 2 magazines with max 5 projectiles, how come?

Unfortunately, that pleasant of a stop doesn't work for all. Who's the cop pulling you over? I live close to where Philando Castile was pulled over (nice suburb), and the cop unloaded his clip into him, with his girlfriend and daughter in the backseat watching. Philando told the cop he had a permit and was carrying. That whole scenario could've ended much better, with him not losing his life. They both could've improved that scenario, but still doesn't justify a full clip unloaded point blank. I have friends that are officers, and they all agree that guy shouldn't have been a cop. And of course after the force defended him and got him off Scott-free, they fired him. They knew he wasn't right for the job. Just saying, maybe it's "probably" safer not saying you're carrying? Depends. I could see carrying one, while walking my dog. And hopefully, if there's an encounter it will stop the suspect and not escalate the situation.

A Byrne if reliable should be considered. But I recommend also having real guns in the event that the Byrne proves not antiquate.

It's so lethargic you can't take it anywhere. It's goofy. Just get a paintball gun. Same thing. I own one and only tested it. Too cumbersome to carry

I love my Byrna HD, awesome less lethal self defense weapon, I've had mine for about 3 years, no problems at all.

I place mine by my right knee where it is wedged gently between the seat and the center console. I can retrieve it quickly without looking for it as I continue to assess the situation.

I installed a new regulator and added a hard line refillable air tank in place of the spare magazine, I'm now shooting steel ball bearings All 3d printed parts and a parts list are posted to thingaverse by myself, search for the hard-line kit Edit: the whole build costed about 200$ since I already the high pressure air line

these rounds broke open inside stored magazine...i cleaned up magazine easy enough with water, but curious if i can remove green residue thats stuck inside gun with water or will this somehow damage it.

This guy convinced me to buy a Byrna launcher.

#6, Carry your EDC tools everyday, even Christmas. No one expects a family event or travel to go off the rails. However when uncle Jim gets too much eggnog in him you'd rather be jingle balling with a Byrna than the 12 Jurors of Christmas. Your Byrna can't help you if you leave it home, or even the other room.

The only thing id buy from Byrna.

I do have a Bryna but realistically, I try not to get into a situation in the first place. People are crazy today and a Bryna isn't going to do much good against a determined wack case or someone with a real gun or someone who decides to use their car as a battering ram. I'm just being realistic.

I was a victim in a road rage incident. I was chased for 5 miles. Durning the chase my phone fell in between my seat. Unable to call the police i Finally I pointed my byrna to the roof on my vehicle to show the aggressor I am armed. He called the police and gave a description of my car. I was arrested at gun point. I received assault with a deadly weapon, garnishing a fire arm and more. I am now in extreme debt for bail and attorney fees. Please don’t buy this product before realizing that It can cause more damage than good.
