JOSH! I have my Byrna LE, and I am more than versed in using it but I have a problem. When I go to train with my Eco-kenetic balls in the LE and I pull on safe to charge the Byrna then pull the trigger on fire the first of my 7 balls falls out on the safety pull? Is the LE only meant for kinetics or Max's? Or is it that 7 round mags are not meant for eco balls? Edit; this does not happen with the standard kinetic rounds in 5 or 7, and I've been sure to keep any pepper (or inert) rounds out of my 7 mags.😂
My byrna story? After paying about $300 for it, I had to get rid of it, the pepper balls kept breaking in the gun, it was horrible being maced almost everyday. The pepper balls are made of poor quality.
I have one and thankfully never had to "use it" yet. I just hope I never have to use it against a druggie. I've saw a video of a normal person who was determined NOT to be affected by it and he was successful. Sorry Byrna but facts are facts.
There have also been stories of the pepper balls breaking inside the magazine. If someone is wearing a couple layers (jacket) the pepper balls may not even break nor will it deter an attacker with kinetic rounds.
There are circumstances and situations where even firearms will fall short (and there are videos showing that too). That's a fact, but for a less-lethal, (EDC) daily carry, or places and people where there are not other options I am happy to have our Byrna! After 40 years of carrying firearms in military and civilian roles I prefer this over all of my other less-lethal options.
I introduced my mothers church to it over 2 years ago.

It’s easier to just carry a small can of pepper gel mace. I have a Byrna SD, but I only use the kinetic rounds for the exact reason you mentioned.
👏👏

I agree. I have a Byrna SD, but it just doesn’t hit hard enough. I ordered the Grimburg Gavle which hits hard at 39 joules.

@@johnzemko9709 there's always the good and the bad. I bought my Bryna on a whim while buying ammo. I realize it's shortcomings.
Most videos I've seen have put them down, big or small size men, with the HD Max, which is the Tear gas and pepper combinations every time.
