I really really do appreciate a lot of Sam’s teaching. I do have to strongly disagree with this one. There’s a few reasons why. I understand the destruction of the temple and the siege of Jerusalem completely. It does seem pretty fitting that it does last for seven years. I do have to look into the history about the green offering to see if it was ever suspended prior to the destruction of the temple. That will be a key point and understanding some of what he is saying. What makes me disagree the most is immediately after the tribulation of those days it says that the sign of the son of man clouds. Tie to the book of revelation. When it talks about the Sun will be dark in the moon won’t give its light, that all happens immediately before the day of the Lord that Paul talks about and that alone. The day, the Lord proceeded by celestial events. You can find those in Joel 3. The next thing is when you look at Daniel 12 one you see the art angel Michael plays a role in this also. He moves himself as a protector of Israel. Both Daniel 12 and Matthew 24 talk about a great tribulation unlike the world has ever seen. And then says it will never happen again. Understanding that tribulations are still happening, it appears the tax does refer to the amount of destruction. I’m not opposed to scripture telling us that the 17th week of Daniel has already occurred. I just don’t see the evidence for it as nothing of the magnitude that the 70th pick up Daniel can happen again. When you look at the Holocaust and other things, it is my view , that’s probably slightly worse than what they went through and 70 A.D. I do think there is a tribulation to come that the church will be here for to support Israel through and wait for Christ.

That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. John 16:13-15 Muhammad did not speak of his own (Holy Quran 69:41-46). He also spoke of what he heard from Angel Gabriel, and he told us of what is yet to come. This verse is also clearly referring to a spirit that can speak, while the Holy Spirit is incapable of speech as it only groans and utters words which are in-comprehensive (Romans 8: 25-30). Again, this man is wrong at yet another thing. He should have just ended it at he didn’t know. That would’ve been a better answer. His guess is way off. It can’t be the twelve apostles or John would have seen himself on the throne. Second of all, isn’t he aware that there aren’t 12 but 14 apostles excluding Judas Iscariot? Well here you have it. Sam is saying that if a person is basically good even without Christ God will accept them based on their own good works or lack of extreme evil works. Do you see how it all comes back on the person’s intrinsic goodness and not the blood of Jesus? Sam is making the assumption that some people are basically good and that is enough. What do you measure against to determine if someone is basically good? What does that standard look like? It has to be the law, and the law demand perfection. Paul was seeking out and murdering Christians and God directly intervened in his life to bring him into salvation. So Paul, who was murdering God‘s people gets a direct intervention by God himself, but the guy and some remote African tried who God could go to directly and reveal Christ to them the way he did to Paul, just has to be a basically good person?do you see how outrageous that sounds? The only way you can reconcile the Bible and questions like this is if what Paul said is true and God before the foundations of the world chose some. That means before God uttered let there be light, he uttered the names of the elect that he knew. The Bible never says anywhere that God for knew what people would do or who would have faith in him, the Bible says that God for knew individuals Before the foundation of the world and predestined them to be conformed into the image of his son. God does not owe salvation to anyone, the scriptures say that no one seeks after God there is none good no not one. the new testament says that God had mercy on his enemies, not basically good people. Another added layer to the interpretation of this cursed fig tree is that according to Jewish Tradition the fig tree was the tree of knowledge of good and evil found in the Garden of Eden from which Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit which caused the Fall and the banishment out of paradise. I guess it depends from which translation you read, as in my translation the 24 elders says "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;" That US to me indicates that they are human, but some translations are trying to hide this fact.
