    There's another way to make cell shading without eliminating the object's and ambient colors: Use shader to rgb>separate color (HSV)> put a color ramp on "value" node, adjust the cell shading as you like > combine color (connect old Hue to Hue, old Saturation to Saturation, and old Value to new cell shaded Value)>output. You get cell shade in Values, but Hues and Saturation are preserved.

    Wouldn't it be possible to solve the issue with rhe extruded mesh by adding a blur or smooth node on top of the extrusion node to get rid of the overlapping geometry ? Thank you very much for this clear and fast video.

    this add-on is great at first glance, but in the practical way, every wiggle bone need to be manually bake and it drop 10 fps at the complex scenes.

    The problem is that currently geometry node still can’t over write vertex normal that’s why you had to cheat the normal masking in shader. I wanted the vertex normal writing for other ideas for a long time

    to Mr. Carlino and anyone else using this addon, I found a way to circumvent the issue where adding video/audio breaks things: (tested on 3.3, 4.2 only, though I suspect it works for any version) The gist is, things only seem to break if the video clip you add was 1) the first thing added to the Video Sequencer that session, and 2) the Video Sequencer was completely empty when you did so. To avoid this, just add literally any strip that isn't a 'Movie' first (such as 'Text'), name it "oh thank god i can actually use this addon for my videos without having to deal with shitty physics", and then add as many video files as you want afterwards. You can even delete the Text or whatever strip after adding your movie clip, but do note if you delete all clips in the Sequencer and then save/revert your file, you will have to do this process over again. To not have to do this for all new blendfiles you create, I recommend: 1) Open a new blendfile. 2) Add a Text strip to the Video Sequencer, and move it before frame 0 so it won't take up any space for clips you actually want to use. 3) Save this blendfile as your startup file ('File' -> 'Defaults' -> 'Save Startup File').

    so how does this work with exporting? If I were to do this and then export and import it into unreal engine for example. would the UV's transfer? would it treat the objects as one mesh? If i put a bunch of objects together and then join them and export unreal still sees everything as individual objects, does this work differently? I'm trying to find a good workflow for creating a character or objects in blender and then importing it into unreal with as much of the work being done in blender as possible beforehand.

      I dont use unreal or unity so I don't know how they handle it. You're probably better off remeshing into fewer objects, or using the same normal transfer procedure in the game engine
