Great tutorial! Excellent jumping off point for mudpie creation and using these synth patches to make samples that can then be cut up, love your workflow. Sidenote: I hit play on the video and the first thing i thought was "uh oh, where are the audezes?" Glad to hear audeze will take care of you, and that you're using decent cans, them 990's are no joke. I went from 990's to, 900 pro x, to hd 8xx, back to 990's then to ATH700x's, and now back to 990s. My fav of the group for sure.

so glad you explained that you use soft clipper + limiter on your bus and master channels, I'm a noob at producing and I've starting doing that technique some time ago to get my stuff louder and more "brickwall" but I wasn't sure if it's something I should be doing. Seeing you use this technique and explaining why it's a good thing was very reassuring. but maybe I shouldn't be using a pro L with 4x oversampling on like every bus channel because my projects get super laggy super fast 😅

I love the LCD-X's, that "Fazor Waveguide" is a game changer. That is where the price difference comes in between the LCD-2. If you look inside the cup on the LCD-X, you can see an aluminum Fazor. 😉
