The melody part really opened my eyes! I was so busy on making complicated melodies while I already had a catchy melody by just removing instead of adding notes 🔥

To everyone still doubting if he is just another dude on youtube, keep thinking that so I can have him as my own mentor forever :D
All jokes aside, after 10 years of self tutoring and countless rabbit holes, this guy is the real deal.
Excellent knowledge and even better person!!!

awesome observations, Martin is the best teacher when it comes to music production. He leveled up my skills all across the board tremendously

the algorythm working for the first time in a long time
great video! i've been struggling for the past 4 months because of how focused ive been on mixing and mastering and making it so complicated for myself to just be creative and make the music

also the creator's complex, i do like to make stuff from scratch exactly how i want it, and be able to modulate it as i please, but its honestly just better to first play around with library's and putting effects on them, and if that doesnt get me the result i want, THEN i go and do it myself from scratch.

@@Kiwikairii There are two problems with creator's complex though.. you either never actually make stuff from scratch exactly how you want it, or you make everything "too much" how you want it and then it's not even fun anymore nor creative :D

I face the exact opposite when it comes to tracks: if I have an idea, I can complete it pretty easily. However, starting a new idea is always really hard for me. After completing a song, I feel like I don't know anything about music production; it's like my mind goes completely blank

This particular comment I find very interesting. It is pretty much the same boat I'm in.
