Yes sir that's what I was talking about LOL and I know that deputy
Are the firefighters having lunch before they attend to anyone
After five mins......I've seen enough.
Very safe response 👍
I was wondering if you ever had any problems with Richmond co sheriffs dept running 10-18 in your POV. I know you been doing it for a while. So most probably know you and way.
You mean like this one ? ruclips.net/video/b-ZBXIY5khQ/видео.html
@@POV-Fire-Response yes sir that's the one and that guy he's okay deputy but he's still a you know trying to be nice a big shot. I still with him a lot when when I was running my wrecker services 😂
Here you are a firefighter responding to an accident and you have to take out your cigarettes for a smoke. Not cool. At least, wait til your back at the station.
you just love to complain, and you also love to like your own comment to feel good about your self such a sad life smh
Hi. They are all just standing around doing nothing. Alan.
Seems to me… Definitely a lack of urgency on scene
Great video!
The young man wearing the #8 helmet definitely got a workout on this call. He comes with a shovel walks back with unused shovel. Comes with cutters, leaves with cutters unused. Comes with a bucket of whatever they use to absorb vehicle fluids, walks back with the bucket, unused. I got tired watching him
That young man is a hardworking cadet. I asked him to slow down to doing anything until we had permission from Highway Patrol. I asked for the bolt cutters to try and disconnect the jeep battery. We could not get to the wires with the Jeep on its roof. He is going to be a great Fire Fighter.
@@POV-Fire-ResponseHe seems like he will make a great fire officer someday. Nice job chief
Man this a couple miles from my drive way on atomic road Beech Island SC
These Jeeps are so popular with kids. Here is another reason why I would never ever let my kid drive one of them because I care about her.
Our local boys doing a great job, it's good to see some locals on the RUclips channel on POV response I believe Beech Island SC has the best volunteers around the area
Thank you for the kind words.
Thank you for posting these types of videos. My Great Grandfather and my Grandfather would have been amazed had video like this been around in their time. They were both firefighters. My Great Grandfather drove the horses for years, and he drove the first motorized truck the fire department had in my hometown in North Carolina. His portrait hangs in the fire house still today.
Thanks for sharing. Its amazing to hear from family members of other departments.
What the hell was that Van taking a shortcut going? The opposite direction to get Over Where the Mailboxes Are at. That's why the Jeep hit him. He cut across going to the wrong way. Where that stop sign is at to your right What people will do just to take a shortcut, so they don't have to go farther down and making a U turn. What is wrong with people
People are not staying home I can sue them
It's crazy how differently calls are handled in the USA. Is it normal for the engine to go out with two men?
Chances are this was a volunteer fire department. In the volunteer world, you get what you get. There may be another engine behind this one.
It's a VFD. When you can go you go. Most of the time if another truck isn't needed the other responding firefighters will just drive to the scene in their personal vehicles. Nowadays, getting volunteer fighters is getting harder and harder.
That is so true.
The ambulance sat on the scene over 20 minutes after loading the patients..There is a golden hour.what are you going to do with a leafblower?
I will leave EMS to the EMS professionals. The leaf blower is to remove the smaller particles from the crash that are hard to get up with a broom.
What happened to the FF protective gear? Only one medical bag..no C spine equipment. At least one line should have stretched just in case of fire one firefighter is wearing tennis shoes..

Look man all I’ve seen is you commenting hate not everyone has time to respond from there house in a state of emergency and put on bunker pants on the scene let them do you job and you do yours bro no need for all the hate and judgement no department is perfect.
@@joshuamead1532 this exactly!
i spent 12 years as a firefighter proud of thes guys this is not easy work by no means it will mess with your mind if you let like i said proud of you guys
Thank you for the kind words. Thank you for the 12 years helping your community as well.
I love the long videos
Why did the ambulance park so far away
why is that your complaint? atleast it even showed up wtf type of complaint are you on about
@@lesliehernandez9581 it was not a complaint it was just a question
Thanks guys for your service looking forward to seeing more videos
Keeping the Q pinned LOVE IT.
The one with the beard, is he an officer or firefighter?
What time
NO POLICE? Ambulance not in a hurry to get person to hospital🤷♀️
@@Eli-DD The one in the engine that responded. He's wearing the blue t-shirt aka Command
@@Islandrara I think he’s a firefighter
good video. can't wait to see more!
Anyone see the sheriff’s cruiser rock back and fourth after he drives right into a culvert or is it just me?
I saw it
Yes ..smh
@@MIHguy1 yep 😂
I wondered if the sheriff was able to back out of there on their own or had to use a tow truck to get the cruiser outta there. Not the best parking job I’ve seen but whatever floats their boat.
@POV-Fire-Response I see you in the video. No video of your response?
I hope everyone is okay in the car accident
Any Advice For Someone Who Is Just Starting Out In The Volunteer Fire Service As Far As What Equipment Is The Best As Far As Lights & Sirens & Also Personal Equipment For Calls ???
It depends what rank you are and where you are located. Let me know, I can help you with that. I'm a volly from PA.
I would suggest you look at your fellow volunteers and command staff for that.
I agree. Almost every dept is different. There may be different requirements and regulations you have to go by. Check with your Commanders
Our Favorite Deputy Chief : How Have You Been Haven't Seen You On The RUclips Lately : Was Getting Kinda Worried About You 🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒
I have been fine. Just in a dry spell on calls. Most calls are hitting when I'm at work during the day.
@@POV-Fire-Response Understand That Completely : Glad To Hear That You Are Doing Well
@@POV-Fire-Response I feel that. Off work at the station or home, nada, but the moment I clock in, my pager goes wild
@@POV-Fire-Response have you ever had to leave work for a call? Like a bad call or something?
No I work 2 counties over from the Fire Station. It would have to a major disaster for that to happen.
Let’s go😊
What kind of system do you have and camera's
Crazy how many people just don’t give a damn and don’t pull over or stop!!!
You need to put a Q siren on the Tundra
Is your Motorola radio uhf or vhf ? Pov fire response
Please keep these coming! Love these
For some reason I love seeing you respond through heavy traffic to see how people respond to you
I remember those days of doing traffic control. Great Work responding and helping with Traffic
You were hauling in that truck, looks like you got up to 70!
These drivers are so dumb. You don't stop in the middle of the goddamn road, you move over to the right hand side of the road out of the way.
Why are the tones 22 seconds long..thats a wasted 22 seconds getting information to members and getting them to the station..
Love this body cam driving setup hope you continue it!!
This 1:49 street looks awesome with those trees and road lamps
@POV - Fire - Response what video was it when you got a call while getting coffee?
I really do not remember when that one was done. I assume the one when I was at Starbucks? I do not recall the call type.
@@POV-Fire-Response yea it was also the one where Siri thought you said I’m going to a car 🤣
@@POV-Fire-Response Any Idea when the next video is going to be. You okay haven't seen a video in awhile
You need to find a way to stabilize that camera. What you are doing is great work but too hard to watch with the camera shaking so bad.
Yes right now its on my safety vest. Not stable at all. I will look into getting a mount for it.
Been on a volunteer department before and this is what it is like when not many people are around during the day about 8 minutes to get to the station crazy so total time before first Engine on scene is about 15 minutes . Plus not to mention he didn't even take his turnout gear with him except his helmet. So now if a house fire came In he has no gear. Glad he didn't need it on this call and what the hell kinda system is on that on the truck for the sand? Never seen that on a fire Engine.
This apparatus is our heavy rescue. There is no pump. The oil dry is on top of the apparatus and is gravity fed down a tube to put in buckets. The Engine and small crew where already on scene. One of the crew members had to leave. Thanks for watching.
Look like you goes get FD truck then go on call or on secne
Good stuff God Bless and stay safe.
Thank you.
My days as a volunteer firefighter from ‘86 to now, really not uncommon. One person gets the truck, everyone else meet at the scene. Welcome to NH.
It is becoming more common than it used to be.
@@POV-Fire-Response where are you located
Nh is new hamster😊
