Why You Shouldn't Disable Airplane Mode Mid-Flight

Why You Shouldn't Disable Airplane Mode Mid-Flight
It's late and phones muted. Can someone just tell me was the answer yes or no?
As long as there no radio interference and you get clear directions like this you should be good. If everything makes you panic tho everyone is screwed lol this was cool to watch.
As an air traffic controller, what I would like to mention is that hardly any air traffic controller in this world would be able to give such detailed advice on what is to be done in the cockpit. The only way a scenario like this could work out would be that ATC somehow finds and calls a pilot to come and help to set the aircraft up via radio telephony. Also, different aircraft from different manufacturers differ in such a way that when you get the wrong pilot, he/she wouldn’t be able to help much because the names and locations of all the switches, displays and indicators vary widely, even though the working principles are similar.
The editor needs to watch Carwow to see how to edit walkie talkie conversation a bit better.
Thisbis a pullshit pit him in full motion sim with crash not inhibited and see
First of all, if you want to make this real, you can’t use a walkie-talkie. If you were actually going to do this in real life, you need to know how to use the radios on the airbus, so that’s one thing.
Tell me when it gets here.
if thats the case every one should be a pilote its landing automatique
What is that place named? I wan to go there to have a test if I can land save. Please
What happens when you lose power?
what we can conclude that aviation radios should be improved.
"Top left side is a knob, it says SCRIPTED, turn it up to MAX"
Aviation fanboys watching, "I bet you I played enough microsoft flight sim to land that plane" lol
Captain: "dude died 10 times before he pressed the autopilot button and set altitude" 😂😂

0:10 R.I.P. Doge
Oh no lol great concept until ya get the wrong guy
Interesting, though guess I woildn't do anything so it's nice to watch when a folk gotta do it
Jesus this would be nuts if it was a real situation
FFS!! Henry is pissing me off!
I have never done this and I will not do it, for practical reasons. But I strongly believe that no airline has the right to tell me where I should get off. It is a violation of freedom. If I choose to leave the flight before its final destination, I should absolutely be free to do so.
Doooode.
Ahhhh I was screaming all the instructions and controls at my phone 😂😂 Love being an avgeek
Can turbulences be dangerous sometimes?
i wanna try this ahaha
1:26 used to be stumped given that the fan turbine isnt even moving yet theres a whining noise. now i know
Great all and all, I don't want to be a smart ass but I would put the helmet on man. TBA is so easy to rewoke again. Best of luck to you man
i want to try
I thought they're gonna take the handle and fly manually but they just turned some knobs and switches on and off 😂😂
They had a pilot directing them down, click bait title really.
Is that a real plane it looks kinda simulated through the cockpit windshield
Let's all hope our lives are never in the hands of Henry.
using the walkie talkie is cheating. they should have to find the Radio in the cockpit.
In addition to a new and improved MCAS system!😁😅
It feels so good to hear an actual Ryanair fanboy!
Have Atlas Air commercial airline?
Granted i have more than average hours playing flight simulator, but I landed a B1 bomber in the training simulator at an air force base (my friend's dad was in charge of the simulator towards the end of his long AF career). He set me up for a straight in approach after flying around for a bit to get a feel for everything, but i nailed it. Afterwards, I saw my approach path vs the ideal path on his computer screen and i was stayed on it the entire time and rolled out smoothly. I only brag because i know full well that i had no chance of landing without lots of help and setup with perfect conditions.
13:00 Okay, but thats kinda rude.
Hmm the standards have deffo fallen with the rise of low cost airlines re what they put up with now.
I have a question to ask: What is the procedure for a minimum fuel approach if the destination airport is experiencing sudden high crosswinds? I know that if the warning is far enough in advance an alternate destination can be chosen....but what if you are already committed to land when the sudden gust occurs?
Love how they managed to get Sacha Baron Cohen to do the commentary.
Bro how dumb is that guy he set the throttles back at 300 ft
I knew modern airliners were somewhat automated, but it's pretty shocking just HOW automated they are. And all is well with these automated systems until an errant line of code causes problems.... Great job to the 3 pilots!
Perfectly working plane is not as hard to land as people think, some can do it with almost 0 human inputs, unlike lets say 25-30 years ago, harder without the help, especially if its older plane and\or little airport.
Videos like this are why RUclips, and its ilk, are a cancer.
"Lower the landing gear now!" "You do realise that will mean putting the walkie talkie down..."
I personally think that Boeing's reputation has been so damaged by issues of trust and in-house issues that have saw both the FBI and the DOJ become involved. Its understandable why major airlines like KLM, Qantas, and Air Canada along with both Delta and American are switching to Airbus rather than buy anymore airliners from Boeing. Until Boeing fully addresses these issues i am afraid that the pattern of major airlines switching to the likes of Airbus, Embraer and Bombardier is just going to continue. So, in all honesty is there really any point in trying to launch a new product at this time, it's like sticking your head in the sand and pretending that the other issues aren't really happening. A bit like Trump trying to get back in the White House whilst facing the prospect of going to prison.
But Boeing has been building pure crap lately.
Now IRL test
