Will Skip Lagging get you BANNED? [2024 Update]
Getting cheaper prices on flights can be done in a number of ways, but have you heard of "Skip lagging"? The art of booking a flight where the destination is your layover. United Airlines, Lufthansa and Southwest airlines have all taken action to clamp down on these practices, but the question is, is it still frowned upon?

Why You Shouldn't Disable Airplane Mode Mid-Flight
Iv never been in a sim and id piss this Jesus
This is a Flight Simmer's wet dream.
I think any plane can land itself … eventually. So, a passenger should be able to.
it just shows that pilot is overpaid.
Henry is the poster child of the Dunning-Kruger effect.
Henry sucks
The only things missing are the NERVES! Try asking a non-pilot to land a REAL plane in an emergency and see how that comes off. These folks know they are in a simulator.
Yeah, I watch a lotta Green Dot Aviation and Mentour Pilot, so I figure I could handle this, piece of cake. 😎 Might even buzz the tower just so THEY have a story to tell about getting to see me do it.
They should give all flight staff or wtv its called basic training on what the buttons do for every plane they do
the women did a great job, followed the instructions on point
digga da ist monte auf dem thumbnail
i can land a long range bomber with 1and a halve wing and no rudder, i'm KNOW i can land an airbus
Deffo set Henry up with the "interference" lmao
Figures the 1 American over talks the pilot and almost screws it up lol
Come and test me!
How bloody ridiculous, putting a woman in the pilots seat! Ffs they can’t even drive car let alone land a plane.
LMAO makes me laugh cause the dude showing the people had different reactions, but when it came to the guy in the glasses, you can tell he had enough of that guys affirmatives. But it goes to show how not everyone is capable of flying or even knowing what to do.
My grandad was a electrical and mechanical engineer who passed away earlier last year at age 78.on The last summer we spent together he tok me to this flight simulator
This isn't a new thing though. I remember just after 9/11 while the Western bloc introduced armed air Marshalls to travel discretely on international flights, the Eastern bloc refused to participate in it and a passenger 737 flight took off from Moscow with 155 passengers, 4 cabin crew, a pilot, a co-pilot & an IRO (International Relief Officer). When the plane reached its cruising altitude of 30,000 feet, an unknown hijacker/terrorist gained access to the cock-pit, shot the pilot dead, the co-pilot dead, the IRO dead, then turned the gun on himself & killed himself, leaving no-one in control of the aircraft. The cabin crew were in a panic asking all the passengers if anyone had any flight knowledge of flying an aircraft, no-one was coming forward except a small 11 year old boy who said he'd fly the plane. The cabin crew sympathetically thanked him while explaining that it was very complicated as it was a real plane and not a toy plane, but the kid kept insisting that he would fly the plane, saying to the cabin crew, "Please, listen to me, my Dad is an air force pilot and he has a flight simulator program on his computer at home,", while saying he often went on it, following the instructions given by the program, and so, with nothing else to lose, the cabin crew removed the cockpit crew's bodies, so as not to distress & distract the little boy and then placed him in the Captain's chair. Near enough straight away, he had contacted air traffic control and said, "I don't need or want you to tell me how to fly this plane, just give me my coordinates and tell where the nearest runway is that I can land this aircraft, which air traffic control did, then with incredible calmness & composure, especially for a little 11 year old boy, bearing in mind, he had 155 near hysterical passengers behind him & a slightly panicking cabin crew, he somehow managed to safely guide that aircraft with its hysterical passengers etc straight into the side of a mountain, aw c'mon, what did you expect from an 11 year old boy LOL! 🤣😂🤣
Guy in glasses is too robotic and nerdy 🤓
Typical American not listening
some people are so thick its scary
Imagine clicking on this video not knowing it was a flight sim
Dude in glasses speaks like a *pro* and he is an idiot
Greetings from Boeing
I'm not getting on a plane with that guy with the glasses, even not in a car
Great video!
hold my beer, i got this.....we'll do a fly by tower 🤣🤣
Airbus is so safe that even Henry couldn't kill everyone
When it comes to Henry, I dont think its just the Thrust Levers that are fully retarded.
I understand how beneficial automation has been in increasing safety and reducing human error, but I can’t help but feel sad that flying an airplane has been reduced to pressing buttons and twisting knobs. None of these people had to use stick and rudder skills to fly and land the airplane. Maybe try an autopilot failure next time
"The airplane will shout 'RETARD' at you... I apologize in advance, the plane is just a total asshole..."
😂 that guy with the glasses i hope never gets in a real situation where he finds himself flying in a emergency situation . Knocking stuff with his feet and misses turning the obvious instructed switch .
You can do this or you can say "hey airplane! Land at nearest runnway." ..and the plane will land itself.
That’s why I “learned” how to land a commercial plane. If pilots are off, I would land the plane. Just not in one piece 😁
Hearing him say "apu" instead of "A.P.U" hurts my soul.
Is that the new Nextel “push to talk” model
Why the walkie talkies? I was unaware they used those
The push to talk button on an airbus is the trigger on the sidestick, if these people were to use that they would probably move the stick too much and deactivate the autopilot. Not realistic but I can see why they chose walkie talkies.
"I am a bit of a scientist my self" xD I guess I can safely land a plane just by the amount of hours expent watching simulations of planes accidents ... even though I've never ever flown a plane before ... buttons and levers and flaps (AP1 and AP2 buttons, etc) look quite familiar enough to save some time and not be anxious nor hesitant about the fairly "easy" process seen in this video
The honest answer is no. Even with the auto pilot they would never be able to figure out how anything works.
The yank is so annoying He thinks he’s brilliant
The canadian is completely unruly.
OK, now land a tailwheel biplane. 😁😁😁
those walkies are uber annoying. is a rando smart enough to find the actually transmit button if people were disabled?
Nope, even the cabin crew aren't routinely taught where it is (the trigger on the airbus sidestick) I only know that because I asked one of the pilots back when I was cabin crew myself for a major international airline. The reality of all pilots being incapicitated is almost zero though.
guy with the glasses is an idiot. he couldn't follow a hallway to the bathroom
80% of men think they can land a plane with no experience as long as they have help from the ground. I'm one of them.
no way in real life - tested many times
It has been done on smaller general aviation aircraft, but in a commercial jet like this I agree it would be next to impossible. The first hurdle is knowing where the ATC transmit button is, which most people don't know.
@@robertl426 no, it hasnt been done anywhere... it is not possible in real life
I wonder if airline pilots can hand fly and land a GA plane since in these big ones you are basilly just a computer operator
ive would've dun hella good but im not saying there bad at it
FULLY lol
