Two of those ships that come out of the jump at the end are Brakiri cruisers. Their design are some of my favorite on B5.

The Vorlons are an advanced race, but their numbers are small. This battle cost them a lot. That's why they were recruiting the younger races to fight them. A direct confrontation between the Vorlons and the Shadows, favors the Shadows, if it goes on for long enough.

White Stars are cool, but they are medium class cruisers. They can hold their own in a battle one to one, but they need heavy support against an entire enemy fleet unless they can swarm them and are equipped with telepaths.

To me, Susan's response to the enemy captain's order to surrender, is the most hair raising, bone chilling, deep soul line of the entire series.

I like that the Shadows reaction is consistent with what we later learn. At first, the Shadows don't react to the Vorlons arrival as opposed to instantly turning and attacking. They seem confused and then they get waylaid in a straight fight.

I was in college during much of Babylon 5's airtime on TV so I only managed to watch some episodes, not a whole season, during holidays. I've seen the Whitestars' introduction but I don't remember them running away from other races. I assumed they were powerful hero ships critical in the fight against the Shadows.

What an immense lot of racket !! Christopher Franke is held up in highest regards .. Up in the late 4th season now and can't think of any composer that would do more justice to this show . Most of us know Chris was a main member of Tangerine Dream

It just hit me how the Drahk ships emitter have a George Pal-like Martian war machine look to them.

The shapes of those ships doesn't make sense. I would want the surface area to volume to be minimized so there is less surfacer area to protect. Also, the rotational inertia would be lower so turning would be faster or take less energy.

Который Кош ввел очень давно, и основной козырь оказался Джон и Кош это понял когда услышал мысли его которые превратились в музыку. Ведь Кош поставил все на Джона против всех Ворлонов Теней и друх изначальных и победил. Победа в четыре хода Первый ход Синклер, второй ход Дэлен, третий ход Лориен и четвертый основной ход конем Джон!!

I was very surprised that none of the ships appeared to have any sort of point defence to counter the missiles. Then again, I expected the missiles to be nuclear tipped. The planetary defence grid fired a lot of them, to little effect.

Babylon 5 had too much mimbari mumbo jumbo... in star trek the vulcans at least have a real life core belief in logic that is a real thing while mimbari are just nonesense Sci fi elves
