It's my headcanon that a small flaw in the genetic modifcation causes them to be afraid of headcrabs. Perhaps it's intentional, to limit Zombine? Explains why they overkilled all the headcrabs with grenades.

Hl:alyx looks absolutely gorgeous but i cant get over how the combine walk and run like they've dookie bombed their pants 12 times over.

this video is a good representation of how bad the ai are in halflife alyx. pretty disappointing and hard to take the game seriously knowing it was made for people with the motor skills of a toddler

Two poison zombies alive at once is too many. You should have had only one poison zombie alive at a time. It also would have made more sense to have the number of NPCs fighting the zombies each round be the exact same number each time.

This remind me of the commonwealth soldier in the walking dead because they 9nly know to shoot and stand in 1 with limited movement making them easy target. Now i know why the combine can't really contain the quarantine zone

Everyone here is saying the ai is dumb but they are not, they would be on par with half life 1 grunts if valve didn’t make their thinking time extremely long. In short the ai was to op and would overwhelm the player, in vr this makes people uncomfortable enough to stop playing. The ai if fast enough can rush you and act just as fast as you if it could think fast enough, there is a mod for half life Alyx that fixes all this luckily and makes the game way more fun!

Looking at this video again makes me realize how accurate the Combine Soldiers and Metropolice are with their weapons compared to retail.

I love Cruelty Squad
