explanation at 3:30 is very misleading. you dont just turn 45 degrees and backflip. the flip is a diagonal backflip to the opposite side and the flip has a flip cancel as you said. not just a backflip. pin this or add something to the video to correct it pls

Another method i like to evolve from and use kind of as a starting point is starting further back a bit, getting a first touch, then the reset, then the goal. You end up learning how to reset as well as how to pop the ball better with the grill/hood. As you dial it in more and more, the need for the first touch goes away as you melt that mechanic into normal gameplay. like any other mechanic really.❤

Happy New Year!!! Good video, but will help few. The real problem is not addressed. In the end, it's about having so much control over your car that you can get the ball on your roof so quickly out of every situation and get into the position so quickly that you can do a good flick. The ball with Bakkes mod putting it on your car and patching it in perfect position isn't really difficult. Don't get me wrong, I like your videos and I enjoy watching them, but often it's not the execution of a mechanic that's the problem, but rather the control of your car. I think you could take an example from kevpert car control videos, they're very extensive, but if you make videos like that smaller, I think it helps people learn mechanics.

You said you have to use boost to catch the ball to do the flip reset, and it worked, for the first time I'm doing flip resets constantly, thanks for the knowledge.

I only use air roll left and right. I don’t have a “regular” air roll. Is that hurting me in getting flip resets? I’ve played like this for 7 years so I have pretty ingrained habits for how to get flip resets.

The pain in plat where you are perfectly positioned to make a good clear but your team mate yeets out of nowhere to the corner and either gives perfect pass to opponent or scores an own goal. Sometimes I wonder what would be my rank in doubles if I could clone myself. I just did a game were my team mate made a nice goal in first minute and few minutes later made one of the stupidest own goals I've ever seen. It's baffling to be honest.

Breaking after popping up the ball really helps me get underneath the ball, this is coming from someone who use to not use break all the time while going for an air dribble. Wouldn't say it's something everybody needs to learn it's just for the people who struggle to stay under the ball after going off the wall

What most people dont explain is how to make contact with the ball. Instead of making contact completely under the ball, it should be more of the side. That little information made a big difference for me to get the reset. Im still learning to score tho😅

Controller: Air roll left: on the LAST revolution of your car spinning, press left and down on the control stick Air roll right: same thing but press right and down on the control stick. The control stick motion should be slow enough to make your car turn. If you move the control stick too quickly, you're going to not turn enough to get upside down. Hope this helps 😊

Are you moving your stick immediately after jumping or just air roll first then correcting with the stick? I always seem to come off the wall crooked and cant get lined up before the ball starts coming down.
