Honestly, without Lestat none of this could have happened (and i don't mean that in a good way lol). With all of his trauma, failed attempts at companionship with past lovers and unrequited love from Louis this entire outline wouldn't have played out. Now i'm not saying everyone else is flawless and he's the only arrogant, jealous, petty or wickedly cruel character that cannot be trusted, but he caused this and what's to come in the next episodes on himself. Louis at this point is still not ready to stop brooding and be "grateful" for the gift Lestat bestowed upon him. Claudia was a bargaining chip that Lestat thought would help him gain Louis' love, but i believe upon realizing how much Louis wanted HER Lestat grew jealous of her presence ontop of her already being a menace/abomination because she was turned so young like their laws prohibited. Lestat had to basically buy his love with Claudia which probably stuck with him in his mind that Louis was never going to be satisfied with just him completely (or even a lil bit lol). Now i don't like how everybody was coming for my girl Claudia and her diaries lol. Yes she's biased towards Lestat and Louis was her preferred daddy, but she had every right to feel the way she did and document that in her PRIVATE DIARIES meant for her PRIVATE THOUGHTS. She needed to be checked for what she wrote in them books because she was a wild card, but neither Lestat nor Louis were the perfect guardian that should've steered her in the right direction. Definitely not Lestat because he was waiting to show Louis just how much of a burden and mistake she was, and Louis didn't want to believe that she did anything wrong. Her judgment of Lestat would always be clouded by resentment and disdain. And finally everyone's waiting to see season 3 for Lestat's pov, but who's to say that Lestat would be 100% honest in his recalling of every event?? He's an acTOR, he's a charmer and natural-born performer (at least on the outside, imo because once Claudia said that worthy of you love line, his main fear and insecurity of never finding love or being worthy of someone else's love came to front and he snapped) i'm not saying the fight scene happened exactly how Claudia wrote it, but he's been known to suppress and withhold some the knowledge and life experiences he's had from them.He's been known to selfishly lie and cater to his ego and his needs. He kept them in the dark and isolated them leading to resentment and mistrust. Him taunting Claudia upon her return with the line about "the vampires out there are vicious... oh.. but you've learned that already" cruelty on top of more usual cruelty between them. ok rant over lol, see y'all tomorrow for the Daughter's documentary.

Finally found someone with the same opinion- I really don’t like Nicole actions in the show , and I feel beniah deserves better and she is not 100% honest about the situation . I think she only changed her mind about Sam cause he rejected her according to him and the discussion between him and her , which needs to be admitted and addressed but I understand it’s hard . Anyway wish her well but I don’t think she is compatible with beniah - I just feel she really wanted to be in the show Cat is toxic I don’t wish they end up together and im not sure i think she makes up stories - loads of ppl adopted just weird excuses of being brat! not sure about her stories ! Tom and Maria 😅 I think Tom so shallow and Maria down to earth so not sure they will end up together. And he really regret his decision after seeing Natasha and she didn’t say she loves him she said she used to love him back then- which is different annoying interpretation by him I love Jasmin but her mom is arrogant and scary😂

I'll say it again, Nicole should have just gone home to get some therapy! She is a trainwreck, who shouldn't be with anyone! Ben needs to realize he cannot fix her, no matter how much he loves her, unfortunately! He deserves so much better! Hopefully, he'll eventually save himself & say no at the alter.
