FIRST PLACE! at the Salisbury Plain Ultra 50 miler 2024 | My first ultramarathon podium finish
I won my first ultra - and I only signed up for it a few days beforehand! Had a great time running 50 miles around Salisbury Plain, the largest military training ground in the UK.
Rather than racing it, I made a new friend and we crossed the finish line together, but one of us had to get first place and my chip time clinched it!
A really well organised event by And-Over Trail Events with fabulous volunteers and a clearly marked, highly runnable course.

To mix things up a bit this year, I ran the Backwards London Marathon and then the regular @TCSLondonMarathon, back-to-back! It was a fantastic day out, and I really enjoyed the contrast between running on the empty streets which were then utterly packed just a few hours later. As always, massive thanks to the volunteers and organisers for putting together one of the greatest races in the world!

Some have described Centurion Running's South Downs Way 100 event as the "crown jewel" in their series, and I can definitely see where they're coming from! This video chronicles a (mostly) enjoyable day on lovely trails with favourable weather and fantastic people - and my 4th 100 mile ultramarathon finish.

One epic day out in the Grand Canyon: April 29th 2022. We descended South Kaibab at 4:30am, got to North Kaibab at 11:15am, and were back at Bright Angel just before 8:00pm. Memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!

A joyful jaunt through the streets of my home town for the Virgin Money London Marathon, one of greatest sporting events on the planet and the biggest race to take place since the start of the pandemic. I didn't run this for time, I ran this for the feels - and there were feels aplenty!
